For my glasses I picked Dr. Katcher after going to Illinois Eye Center for a few years. My mom was also going to IEC but she always felt they weren't as attentive as she felt they should have been. I agreed. She first went to Dr. Katcher and was so happy with his service, I chose to try it as well. I could not be happier and I honestly believe for the first time I'm wearing progressive glasses that I'm comfortable with. I don't have to look any further.

Dr. Katcher is the most thorough optometrist I've ever been to. He is patient, he is meticulous and he has great bedside manner. I've been there countless of times in my journey to obtain contacts for the first time. He's been so helpful at every appointment. It's nice to get such a personal experience after going to various national chains, big box store optometrists, etc.

I moved to Iowa a few years ago and after going to Dr Katcher for over 25 years. I went to a new doctor and was told that I was in need of cataract surgery! I was surprised and kind of scared So, I call the best eye doctor I knew, Dr. Joel Katcher. He called me back personally and went over all my questions and advised me of my options even though I wasn't his patient anymore. CNN I can't thank him enough for making me feel comfortable and knowledgeable of this situation/surgery. So if you want the best, go see Joel Katcher because he is more than just a great eye doctor he cares about you. Thank you Joel you are amazing.

I had went for glasses here and was treated excellent by Dr and Laurie. I called a little over a week about my glasses delivery and a woman named kim answered she couldnt help me out bevause she was going home early. I was absolutey disgusted by the customer service by her. It only takes one word, phrase, person to ruin it
