The Eye Place of Schaumburg

I met Dr. Desai in the optical Walmart department. He took excellent care of my twin preteen boys. I also decided to see doctor as a patient myself. At one time, I was leaving for vacation and needed prescription sunglasses which we were not sure they were coming in on time because of the holida weekend . Dr. Desai quickly provided me contact lenses at no charge in case they didn't come in. Fortunately they did on the day we were leaving. But his kindness and prompt service I did appreciate just in case I didn't have any prescriptive wear. Last week I called Walmart to reach out to him once again and they said he had left. But I was able to track him down and find out he now has his own office in Schaumburg. They quickly accepted my appointment and provided excellent care. His office is very professional, very clean and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Desai for your family.

My kids and I have been under the wonderful care of Dr. Upadhyay for almost two decades now. She is caring, thorough and goes above and beyond to deliver quality care for all her patients. Her new clinic is beautiful and centrally located near woodfield which is a bonus! We look forward to our visits as both Dr. Upadhyay and her staff always provide exceptional care and support.

I have been coming to Dr. Desai for years for my eye exams. Naturally, I had to find him at this new office and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The new office is gorgeous and staff is so lovely. Dr. Desai and his staff go above and beyond in checking eye health and making you comfortable. Love this place! State-of-the-art office with friendly staff and plenty of great options for glasses so that you can get exactly what you need. Dr. Desai is patient, pleasant, and does a thorough examination. 100% would recommend to anyone needing a new prescription.

A beautiful new building Dr. Desai has moved into! He has been marvelous in helping me through all my eye issues. I keep going to him because he looks out for me as a patient, and will go the distance. Many times I get confused with my health insurance, and Dr. Desai helps me understand what the insurer will allow. He even goes beyond and looks for ways to save on cost (frames, contacts, etc.). He does his best to make me comfortable and is a very good communicator. Highly recommend him to anyone!

I have been wearing glasses since I was 9. This was by far the best experience I have had during my annual exam. Dr. Desai did not rush me and took his time. He was very knowledgeable. I ordered both contacts and glasses and prices were cheaper than other local optometrist. Great experience and my family will be back next year!
