Visionworks Woodfield Village Green

Everyone there took such great care of me and my needs. To the women at the front desk Caroline and Mia all the way to Dr. Avery who made sure all my optical needs were met. They all made me very comfortable and I am so happy I finally found an optical place for my glasses and contacts. Thanks to everyone there for a great experience!

My daughter and I both go to Visionworks. The employees are always patient when helping me pick out frames. Dr. David gave me a thorough exam, was not rushed and I felt he cared about helping me. I will definitely go back to Visionworks and ask for Dr. David!

Went to get my mom glasses & unfortunately her Medicare/medicaid wouldn't cover her glasses. So they offered the BOGO which was still pretty expensive for transitions & hi impact lenses. After talking with Bushra & Jordan. Jordan went above & beyond to get us a great discount so she was still able to get 2 pair. Thank you to both of you. You guys are the bomb.com. Would recommend this Visionworks 100%.

6/2025 5* Ultimately we did not buy from here because they did not have the toddler glasses we were looking for. However, the staff was still super friendly and very helpful. We will be back for our other glasses needs. I highly recommend them.

I was extremely impressed with the high quality eye exam in received when i had eye exam about a year and 1/2 ago. Loved my new glasses but now themetalic finish on the stems has worn off and at several points they have become greenish in color. I didnt pay for insurance to cover any problems I may have so I called to ask about replacing the stems which I would pay for. The only course would be to buy all new glasses. Beware poor quality of glasses from Vision Works. Quality too cheap to last.

I have bought my glasses at this location for years. Wearing glasses my whole life, have been to many other competitors, and nobody is better than Visionworks. They are always helpful, kind, and courteous. I am very grateful to have Visionworks Woodfield Green in my community. will be a lifetime customer.

The staff members here are super helpful and they know what they are doing. They made the decision for our little girl so simple and painless. We love her new glasses and can't wait to shop here again. Thank you !

Horrible. I had my exam about 6-7 weeks ago for 2 pairs of glasses. After 2 weeks with no word, I happened to stop in to check, only one pair was ready, second was not. This should have been where they reordered the missing pair, NOPE. 2 weeks later I called the 800 number, they said they still weren't in, or even ordered, they'd let the manager at store know. NOPE, I confirmed today no email to store was received. They did not let anyone know, nor did they reorder. THIRD attempt today to see if they're there, NOPE she said it must have fell through the cracks, Let's see if they order them THIS time, as the weeks tick by. In the mean time, the glasses I DID pick up, that i paid over $300. for, aren't done correctly, I can't use the progressive bifocal, there's only a tiny sliver of it. Unfortunately I still don't have the other pair to wear while they fix the first pair. No discount or compensation was offered. Let's see if someone manages to order them for the now THIRD attempt. I've been a customer at vision works for several years, but after this experience, all I can see is incompetence. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT WOODFIELD STORE, it WILL be wasted. I also had my time wasted on the first visit, I made my appointment on 800 number, they didn't have my reservation when i got there, I had to reschedule. I shouldn't have never gone back, I wish I'd gone somewhere else, I will from this point on.
