"I cannot say enough good things about the Bard Optical on Dirksen. I went in with my mom and I was so happy with how amazing they treated her--they really went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. The front staff was amazing as well; they were super fast, efficient, and genuinely kind people. The building itself was very clean and organized, which is always a huge plus. I would highly recommend this place to anybody that needs glasses. Great experience all around!"

My wife picked up her glasses Wednesday. November 29th, she really loves them. And thank you so much for taking care of her and for telling us how to get an earlier appointment. By calling after 5 to see if there were cancelations. God bless you for having medicaid and helping people who can no longer afford. To buy expensive glasses.

Apparently having a 4:40 p.m. appointment and showing up early to check in means that you are going to sit there for an hour and a half while they check in and see every other appointment after you only to have you say something at 10 minutes to close while the employees are standing there talking about closing early even while you've been sitting directly in front of them for the entire time and actually having to ask them if you were ever going to be seen... the reply was a blank stare followed by "oh, we were just getting ready to call you back..." while the other employee starts frantically looking through paperwork trying to find a file that I'm sure was supposed to be set up with the waiting patient stack... how ridiculous. People make mistakes and that's fine but certainly don't lie to people's face. Just admit somebody screwed up and fix the problem.

My first visit I went to look at frames but really wanted to use a frame I already had, but could not find. Ava was very pleasant and put all my info in the computer. I went back with my frames and Natalie helped my through the process. She was very pleasant and eager to help. I enjoyed my business at Bard! I went back to pick my glasses up and again was met with friendliness and courtesy! THANK YOU!

Clean and organized office with kind and experienced staff. The doctor did a great job with my exam, the front desk staff were very helpful, and specifically Lori the technician was extremely knowledgeable and took a lot of time to explain the tests administered and made me feel at ease. I would certainly recommend this clinic.
