Slower than a snail! 10 am maybe you get to see the doctor by 11:30. Dr. Often rushes through explaining process. Had a least two instances when eyes were not properly numbed before he stuck the needle in.

My Fiance has been going to this office and every time it's a disaster. First of they have to be the most unorganized office I have ever been too. The nurses forget to numb his eyes sometimes. The doctor comes in and doesn't even know what he is doing before he walks in. You are there FOREVER!!! The last time he went for shots we were there for over 3 hours. By this point it was after hours and they decided to Dialate his eyes because he was having issues so they didn't even do him shots and made us come back two days later. This visit was supposed to be quick and we were still there almost two hours. The doctor told us he was referring to surgery. We had not heard anything so at the last visit we brought it up to the doctor. He told us if we had not heard anything by Friday to call the office. The office was called and they said that the referral had never been put in. So we called back on Monday and the person said there was still not anything entered and that they were short staffed. It is now Thursday and when we called today he was told that a new person is starting next week and nothing would be completed until then. So even though the doctor thought it was urgent enough to have this completed a week ago, they are now short staffed and the care of their patients doesn't seem to matter anymore. It's ridiculous!

We were sent here on a referral for my son. From the time we walked in the door the atmosphere was very unwelcoming. My son has never been treated so poorly at a doctor's office as he was here and at the end of it all, no one made any attempt to guide us in the right direction for our next step because it was after hours. He was just told to call them if he needed anything else. I took him to St Louis the following day and he had an amazing experience and is getting in for surgery in a few days. On a side note, they forgot another patient was even there who came in about the same time we did. They didn't get her called back until it was "after hours". Just take care of yourself and go to St Louis or Columbia first and save yourself unneeded stress and get it done right the first time.

Appointment is at 810 am. It is now 830 and still waiting. How can your schedule be so far off this early in the day. Dr is great but office management has issues. Get on schedule. This is not an isolated incident. Happens every time. Update at 9am... The computer systems were having issues and all patient info had to be re entered causing extensive delays. Upped rating to 3 stars because of extenuating circumstances but previous appointments also ran late.

Waiting three hours at an appointment before you are even seen by the doctor for a ten minute of the doctor actual time is ridiculous. This being a constant occurrence is insane. If there is another option for an eye specialist I sincerely suggest you take it. I absolutely hate coming here.

I just spent 8 days, including 2 phone calls, and I think at least 4 requests from my pharmacy getting a prescription refilled! This is unacceptable! They also sent it to the wrong pharmacy after being told which one to send it to ( I'm sure that is also in my records) so the person dealing with prescriptions is also incompetent! Please don't lie and say you will do it "this morning" and then not do it causing me another trip to the pharmacy which I will have 4 trips in getting this prescription.

Yes, the wait time may be long but he's a specialist. It happens. I would much rather have a long wait time then a Dr who hurries through and misses things. I highIy recommend this Dr. He has awesome bedside manner and knows what he is doing. He is taking amazing care of my son and I cannot thank him enough!

The Doctors have no consideration for the patients time at all ! The first the appt was 2:40pm and we didn't get out of there till 6:15pm. They said the following appt should be quick. The appt time was 3:50pm and it is now 4:50 pm and I am still in the waiting room. I would not recommend Dr. Gendy to anyone.
