Walmart Vision & Glasses

Dr. speck did amazing with myself and my son. This was my son's first appointment and he made him super comfortable. Stacey was also AMAZING, I cannot give her enough credit. She went above and beyond.

Mid August I got my yearly eye appointment with Dr. Spekt, routine eye exam nothing amiss. The doctor could have paid more attention though as I almost recieved the wrong perscription(original perscription made far away images look blurry/scratchy, he should have asked me follow up questions instead of just jotting down perscription). Additonally, when trying to pick out a new lense brand, he could have taken the time to explain which are safe to wear overnight and which aren't (I had to dig for more information). Dr. Spekt and the receptionist said they would mail my trial lenses to me as I live an hour away. I spoke with Evanghn and Dr. Speckt on September 3rd, 2025, they said they forgot to order&mail my trial contact lenses. They said they were going to mail them today to my home address. UPDATE: October 14th, 2025 I called Walmart Vision Center and spoke with Dr. Spekt because I STILL haven't got my trial pair of contacts after TWO MONTHS of waiting and they said they forgot to mail them AGAIN and they will mail them when UPS comes on Thursday(10/16/25). I said they NEED to physically CALL me when they hand my contacts over to UPS to be shipped because they obviously cannot be trusted after not one, but TWO times forgetting to ship my trial contact lenses. I will update my review and my rating if I ever receive my trial contact lenses from Walmart Vision Center(or if they will even be the correct contact lenses when they get here, maybe they'll mix that up too). I am beginning to lose hope I ever will.

I stepped on my glasses and thought they were completely ruined! I mean, they were folded in half and the worst way! I brought my glasses to Dr. Timothy Speck and he completely repaired my glasses back to their original form! The entire staff was so helpful and extremely nice! I'm very grateful for all their help. While waiting, I saw a pair of frames that I'm definitely interested in and I will be back!

I've gone to Walmart for my vision needs for 10 plus years now. I switched insurance just recently so I made an appointment elsewhere, that was in network with my new vision insurance. I was extremely unhappy with the customer care at the new place, which was actually my previous vision center prior to Walmart. I am normally very easy going and understanding, but the new place did me wrong before I even had my appointment (which was scheduled 3 weeks out). I called Walmart right away and they took care of me no problem, as well as scheduling me an appointment the very next morning. I didn't have to wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment. I don't mind paying out of pocket for Walmart because they take good care of me. They are always there and I always get great service from them. (I don't even shop at Walmart. I can't stand the place. Lol) Go to Walmart Vision Center. They treat you like a real person and you're always guaranteed an interesting conversation with the eye doctor! ;-)

Luanne is awesome. Perfect customer service. We are leaving on vacation in a couple days & don't have time to get new glasses. My son's frame broke. She took extra time to cut our lenses and put them in a inexpensive frame until we get back. We will make an eye appt. tomorrow before we leave. That's how you get customers to come back. A huge thank you.

The vision center was horrible. They are unprofessional and just plain rude. I first entered to ask a question about contacts and the two women sitting behind the desks not only ignored me but continued to talk among themselves. When I was finally acknowledged and able to ask my question, I was treated like I was totally ignorant. The next time I came back for an actual eye appointment the same woman was talking to her coworkers again, but this time it was about me and my question and they were all making fun of me. Very loudly. Clearly they didn't know I was there. Don't go here. You'd be way better off going somewhere else.

Got appointment fast. Staff very friendly. I will go back.
