I needed an immediate appointment, & Dr Weiss's clinic in Berwyn was kind enough to schedule me within a day or two. The entire staff was friendly as well as thorough & asked detailed, complex questions with clarity & patience. Dr Weiss was extremely knowledgeable & very compassionate Even though I was his last appointment of a long day, he took quite a lot of time to make certain I understood his diagnoses; I did not feel rushed or pressured due to time constraints. He answered my questions thoroughly & offered to make certain that the next step of my care was done properly by notifying neuropathology himself. This type of customer care is unique in this day & age, & I was amazed as well as grateful. The entire clinic made me feel as if I now have a team to assist me with my recovery. I strongly recommend this clinic and Dr Weiss.

After 20+ plus years as patients from original offices on cermak ave in Berwyn to current Stickney locations. I have to write a not positive experience and I typically never write a positive or negative review. Giving one star is because I remember the good old days when patient care was the priority. I'm sure some current/past patients agree/disagree with my experience since Eyecare Service Partners acquired/merged Chicago Eye Consultants in January 2018. Which includes typical not being seen at scheduled times, since they typically ran at least 30 minutes lare. I was seeing an ophthalmologist and not an optometrist, which BTW from what I heard they don't have one full time. But that is a different topic. After paying an outstanding balance verified by insurance eob directly to the Corp office late last year and being told I incurred a collection fee charge of $75, which i refused to pay. Today i went for an Emergency Appointment with new doctor for, Dr Jacobs, and was told I needed to settle the outstanding collection fee NOW in order to keep my appointment,regardless of my medical needs. So much for patients medical attention first. After speaking with their Corp offices they didn't deter from requesting the pmt of $75 in order to be seen. But did they offer to put me on payment plan for it. It's a principal issue not monetary one Well guess what guys know where I'm going. I told them that I wasn't going to pay, since they recouped100% of eob patient responsibility directly from me and I could have worked with their collection agency for a reduce fee eventually. I was told by Brenda that she had final say in possibly waving fees, she said basically no. They care more about the money at this moment than the patients welfare, so they lost me plus 3 other family members for 75 bucks.they have lost a former faithful client plus let's say 1,000 dollars a year of billing for ophthalmologist fees. Dr Weiss and Dr Qurashi thank you for the care you provided throughout the years. To bad it had to end this way CEC or ESP no need to post that I should contact your office for experience or feedback.ive said my peace and you have made yours.

Dr. Emily Jacob and her Staff at Chicago Eye CONSULTANTS are Great!! I Would Recommend, Dr. Jacob to anyone Who Is In..Need of medical Treatment for your Eyes. They. Are very Professional, and. Make you feel Comfortable. Any and all questions,. Or Concerns You may have or any procedures you..May. Have ARE Explained, In a manner where you can understand what they are doing to you. And how. It , a Friendly Atmosphere.. I. Would. Rate Dr. Jacob and Chicago .Eye. Consultants. A 10. You get the very Best of Care There.

Had a GREAT experience there! Everyone was super nice and very helpful. I felt very welcomed , especially by the lady at the optical store they have in there, I did not get her name, but I highly recommend.

Awesome! Josh, the optometrist assigned to take care of our 93 wheelchair bound mom was efficient, caring, fluent in Spanish and able to communicate with her even though she has poor hearing (with her hearing aids in place). The front desk was capable and took us in quickly. All the staff was good however Josh was the superstar. The last two times we've been here Josh has taken care of mom and both times he has been amazingly patient and supportive

Everything at Chicago Eye Institute was caring and professional. I have to give an extra thank you to Joanna or Johanna(Sorry about the spelling)for her wonderful customer service at the time we called to make an appointment and her professionalism in looking up insurance while accommodating the appointment.

Everything went well. As with first time visits, there was a lot of paper work to fill out. Other than that, the staff was awesome.and the visit went well. Glad to say I'm good for another year.

My wife who is legally blind went in for an appointment and had an issue with her insurance Plan G Medicare supplemental. The receptionist told her she would have to pay 20% but my wife told her that it was still active. My wife even called State Farm and talked to a representative who verified it was indeed still active. Receptionist talked to another person and they still would not let my wife see the doctor. Then they told her she would have to pay a late fee and my wife responded that she is not late she is standing right in front of them. My wife had State Farm on the phone who wanted to talk to them and they never accepted the call. My wife ended up canceling the appointment and never got to see the doctor. We will never go back to this business again. My wife has been going there for 20 years seeing Dr Weiss but the people at the desk are very rude and unprofessional. John Aguina Stella DeGenova
