Chicago Eye Consultants: Brian P. Larsen MD

My mom had cataract surgery through this office a few years ago. I think the doctor she had was fine, but the office was awful. The staff was extremely rude to patients. I saw an elderly woman being treated impatiently and rudely by the receptionists through the covid-plastic barrier because she couldn't hear them. They require pre-check in, but then make you stand in a long line to do the same procedures over again. My mom's account was also late fee'd and sent to a collection agency for a (very small) bill that the office never actually sent to her. Even with proof, they would not reverse the fee. When my mom decided to switch to a new doctor, they used a variety of tactics to avoid releasing her records. Ultimately, the never released her records, but the new doctor agreed to see her without them.

I went to see Dr weiss and I guess I wasn't his specialty. He referred me to Dr patel. She quit. So dr Larsen was up next. Dr Larson had me coming to him for 6 months and didn't try anything different the whole time. Just drops and some pills. Nothing changed. Finally he gave up and said he didn't know wats wrong and said to find another doctor. He also sent me a nice bill.

Office associates are wonderful here. Dr Larsen is hands on and treats all of his patients like family. I'm very happy with the service I receive from him and the staff.
