We have an eyemed plan and my husband wanted to go somewhere close to home because of all of the snow. My husband told me it took them an hour and a half to get his exam and fit for glasses. Which is excessive especially when they were practically dead due to the snow storm. Because of covid I didn't get to go with him. He said he ended up paying around $400 with our eyemed plan for a pair of single vision glasses with a simple prescription. They didn't give him an itemized receipt or any explanation of how the glasses were so expensive. After he gets his glasses back I'm looking at them and I notice this frame is not the correct fit for my husband at all. I don't know if the optician just didn't care or didn't pay attention. The arms are way too short on the frame and in the back where the arm is heated up to be curved around the ear - the curve is actually in front of the ear which looks very odd. I feel like they were just in it for the money. We definitely did not save any money by stopping here and I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone I know.

I've been going to Dr Alice for years, I had to go elsewhere since I moved but went back when they opened the Edwardsville office. She remembered me and she gives a great exam!!
