Eskenazi Health Eye Care

Absolutely unprofessional when it comes to patient care in a timely manner. There were 7 other patients in the room all waiting 2 hours just to go into a waiting room. All exam rooms were empty while all doctors and nurses sat in clinic area just talking and not helping patients. Multiple of which who had more serious eye injuries. Not helpful or communicated wait time whatsoever.

If a zero was an option I would select. This place is awful sat 2.5 hours with a disabled patient before these trainees behind door A/B came into waiting room to discuss his medical information with a whole audience. Along with a LIE stating they called IRH REHAB and notified them he could not be seen without an CNA. Straight LIE I had IRH Nurse on the phone who justified they never received that notice or no such call. I asked who they spoke with no response. Then to top it off they never seen the patient after waiting now over 2.5 hours without no justifiable reason besides they are garbage. They acted as if this wasn't a human but a number. They were rude, nasty, violated hippa law which is on camera and we will ensure this information get into the right hands ( hopefully a house supervisor) as this should NEVER HAPPEN to any patient less known a disabled patient. Dr Patel and Dr J ;) you all really need to look into your hired training staff specifically this appoint scheduled for 2 pm on 11/14 and the BS began at 415 with unjustifiable lies after such long wait to not seek service. LOOK INTO YOUR STAFF RATHER TRAINING OR NOT THEY WERE RUDE , NASTY, UNPROFESSIONAL AND VIOLATED LAWS. You do NOT want their kind representing a practice with your name on it. Eskanazi 6th floor CCU service wasn't fit for a dog. Please review waiting room tape and 1st room on right behind door B between 420p and 440p on 11/14. I would love to chat about our experience!

Most thorough exam I've ever had. They took time to explain the testing and the results. Everyone that helped me was very friendly from start to finish. I will definitely continue to follow up with the eye clinic at Eskenazi.

The staff and doctors in Eskenazi's eye clinic treated us as individuals. They were very caring, thorough, and friendly. Some of the wait times were a little lengthy but no worse than most other doctors we have seen. Everyone we encountered from scheduling to employees in the hallways was friendly. Highly recommend.

These people are brilliant AND kind. They saved my eyesight and treated me with the utmost respect and consideration. I am blessed to have been treated by Eskenazi Eye workers and doctors. Im sure some say otherwise but as a patient it felt like the whole place ran like a well oil'd machine. If you ever need to go here I have two things you need to know, Trust the process and ask all the questions.

My Mom is being treated for macular degeneration and after her appt. last Tuesday, the dr. informed her he wanted to see her in 5 wks but the scheduling staff was gone for the day and would call the next day. They did not. My Mom, who is 76, called on Thursday and again on Friday and was told each time someone would call her. They did not. I called Monday and was told the same. I called on Tuesday and was told it would be 48-72 hours and they are very busy. When I inquired what had changed recently as I used to call the eye clinic directly I was told by Monica that "she's not getting into her job description with me" and offered to transfer me to customer care which was another wait and then a voicemail. What is going on with this hospital that they cannot schedule an appointment. The hold message says "we value your time". Apparently not as we've had to make four calls, be on hold for a total of more than an hour and STILL DO NOT HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.

They are not time conscious here at all. You have 12 pm appointment you won't get call in until 2pm.

Worst eye clinic for children. They are never on time. They make you wait two hours for every appointment. Just rude and completely unacceptable. This is the worst ever.
