I had a great experience. The appointments are far out and that's the only downside. Other than that, her doctor was absolutely amazing. She had a lot of patience as well as the assistant. My daughter has a lot of trauma from the dentist so she was scared. But the doctor was able to ease her nerves and they were so nice and genuine and showed that they really wanted to help. She was diagnosed with astigmatism so I'm happy we went. The shop was also a great experience, the lady there was so helpful and nice. She helped us very much and answered all my questions.

Absolutely horrible. My children have gone here for multiple departments from opthalmology to dental and it's always the same. They are inconsistent with scheduling to the point it has became ridiculous..
Waited 6 months for his follow up appointment because they couldn't get a clear view of my son's very obvious wondering eye and was given a call a week before his appointment telling me they have to reschedule again another month out. I don't understand how they are so unorganized.

Took my daughter in for eye exam to get contacts. The exam and pair we received in the office was good. However after nearly two months we hadn't received it turns out it was shipped to the wrong address. They redo the order and ship, when we receive the order had my daughter removed the contacts she had and dispose because it was time . She installs new pair and can't see as well. Call and continuously am given the run around 400$ for the contacts and they act like oh really. Not really showing they care for your child in my opinion!

Called to get an appointment for my daughter, the lady listed two dates - one within the week, one the following week at two different locations that a doctor could see her. I asked to call my partner to confirm the time works with their schedule and call back. I call the office back within 3 minutes of hanging up with the first person at the doctors office and someone else answers. He stated that within that 3 minutes ALL appointments have been taken up till October 2023. I hung up and was able to get an appointment at another place with a 5 star rating with 500 reviews for the following week.

My son has been to the ophthalmologist for a droopy eyelid and ended up needed surgery to prevent further damage. He needed the surgery as soon as possible. It took 6 months of back and forth JUST to get on to the surgery schedule. And he needed the surgery soon due to the extent of his eye. The receptionist gave me and my husband attitude everytime we called. They would tell us they'd call back the next day to schedule and they never did. They are practically impossible to get a hold of to schedule follow ups. The actual surgery experience was great the nurses were wonderful and so helpful. But to get a appointment and receptionist are terrible!

I am having nothing but problems. First my son had an MRI (which I chose a closer hospital to do and send results). Riley was not on top of getting this pre-approved through insurance and didn't call me back until I made a complaint with an advocate. Then I had to call over a week later to get results. Now my son needs surgery. I have had an appointment for 2 months. I called to verify the appointment that is next week and was told he may need to see a hematologist before he can have surgery. HELLO!! WE HAVE HAD THIS APPOINTMENT FOR 2 MONTHS!! So frustrating and would love to find another doctor but switching now would mean waiting longer to have surgery. Seriously need to get your stuff together... Will not be coming back after this is finally over.

Dr. Boente seemed very nice and knowledgeable. We took our premature 2 month in for an exam and the majority of staff we very kind and helpful. However, the nurse that aided Dr. Boente was rude and condescending when talking to us and to the doctor during the short exam. The doctor asked if we had any questions, I directed one at the doctor, and we were interrupted mid-question by the nurse. If I had other options...I would use them.

I can't believe all the negative reviews, I had an amazing experience with everyone we encountered in the office. Even my 20 month old loved the staff and sat perfectly for all the eye tests. We have Medicaid and did need to pay out of pocket for the toddler proof glasses but still worth it 1000%.
