My mom and I were blessed with having Evelyn help us with our glasses. She did an amazing job and was so kind to us. She had to adjust the glasses several times and got them to fit perfectly to our faces. She's the best! Highly recommend going to myeyedr.

To say that I had a tremendous experience would be a bigger understatement than calling the Grand Canyon a "small crack in the ground." From the moment I walked into my eye doctor's office in Elletsville, I felt genuinely cared for, listened to, and valued. The staff were absolutely incredible--warm, welcoming, and impressively knowledgeable. Every step of the visit felt smooth and professional, yet also personal. They took the time to explain each part of the exam, answered my questions without rushing, and made sure I was completely comfortable throughout the entire appointment. My doctor was equally outstanding: thorough, attentive, and clearly passionate about providing the best care possible. I left not only with clearer vision but with total confidence in the team and the quality of their work. If you're looking for an eye doctor who combines expertise with genuine kindness and a staff that treats you like family, this Elletsville office is absolutely the place to go. Highly, highly recommended.

This is going to be a fairly long review so I am sorry for those who don't like wordy reviews. When this location was Hoosier Eye Doctor I really liked it. When it first switched to My Eye Doctor it was OK. However it changed and my experience was not great. Both my husband and I had issues with the glasses we purchased from here. My husband had to go in on more than one occasion to get his lenses corrected because they hadn't measured his eyes correctly. My most recent frustration that is worth mentioning is related to paying for progressive lenses and not receiving them. Funny story, I just thought I could not tell the difference. That the change was so smooth that I couldn't notice. It wasn't until I went to TWO different eye doctors where I learned my lenses were single vision. They put them in some fancy machine to read my prescription. I decided I would ask about the lenses so I emailed customer relations at My Eye Doctor. Long story short I was told that I could bring the lenses in to be shown they are progressive. This was after I verified that I did indeed pay for progressive lenses and that the order was sent to the lab as progressive. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt on a couple of levels. Anyway, when they suggested that I ultimately asked if I brought them in if it was discovered that I received single vision lenses could I be reimbursed. Roughly $90.00. Once I asked that question all correspondence stopped. Prior to that email flow was good. I can't recommend this location, Ellettsville has other choices. Brand new one in fact. I highly recommend you check it out.

I have had a great experience at myeyedr.! They've taken great care of my family for some years now. Very kind and courteous staff, and a great selection of frames. A special shout out to Evelyn, who's been super cool in assisting me everytime I'm in! Always smiling, very helpful, and a sweet young lady! Some people have a gift for working with people and she's got it in spades! I look forward to seeing her there when I come in!

I came to this location to use insurance benefits to pick out a pair of frames and was extremely impressed with the overall experience! The customer service was great and everyone was friendly and so helpful, particularly Evelyn who picked the perfect frames and provided honest and constructive feedback on which ones would suite my face best!

Dr. McDaniel was fantastic--he immediately understood my rare medical condition and how it affects my vision. Evelyn was just as amazing, guiding me through getting both glasses and contacts. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
