The Eye Center of Southern Indiana

The staff was awesome and welcoming. I arrived and Sam at the front desk waved me over for check in. When they called me back Rae ( not sure if the spelling) was friendly and professional. Then I went to Stephanie for retina photos. Dr Chang wasn't all that friendly to me, but he was professional and down to business, addressing my vision status and seemed interested when speaking with me about it, so I appreciated that. Upon checkout, Sam once again waved me over. The staff made the visit a worthwhile experience.

I am so grateful my optometrist referred me to this facility. Everyone was so kind and friendly. They truly care about their patients. I have to mention that I have been sick since November. I wasn't even sure if they would be able to do the surgery. Apparently I went into Afib, they caught it, and probably saved my life. With that being said.... I am only two and three days out, and colors are so vivid ! I am still healing so I know it will get better. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mackey and staff. I will get to watch my grandson play football this year ! Thank you so very much to the entire staff, and to Dr. O'Neil for sending me there .

I have never had a surgery where I felt so safe and genuinely cared about by a physician and their staff! Dr. Andrew Hack, Dr. Campbell, the anesthesiologist, and the entire staff from checking in to being discharged was the most amazing care I have ever received! Being a former UAW Benefits rep I often With ask recommendations of different doctors and of course I was never allowed to recommend but now that I'm retired I will be recommending this establishment every day of my life!

I had my eyes done the end of January. I cannot be more pleased with the results! I was scared , no terrified to have them done. The staff is so professional and confident. They are the BEST ! I just felt like I was in the best hands. From the check in, to the wheelchair ride to my car, I felt their compassion and kindness. I highly recommend them! I now have the vision I had as a kid!! Thank you to Dr. Andrew Huck and his staff! You guys and gals are top notch!!

Great experience. Eye surgery went so smoothly. No pain and my vision is so clear and crisp after the 2nd day. Nurses were amazing and Dr Huck, Dr Floyd and Dr Gray were great. Dr Huck called me after each surgery and on Saturday to check on me. I would highly recommend them.

There are two things that I feel most people will take away from their experience at The Eye Center of Southern Indiana: its efficiency and the consideration shown by each professional assigned to your care. The center is truly a well-oiled machine but there is nothing mechanical about the individuals you meet along the way. Whether they are greeting you at the door, administering eye drops, or reviewing post-op directives, each person gives you their full attention. And once you are taken back to be prepped for surgery and hear of the number of patients that are seen every day, you continue to be in awe of the individualized care and attention you are receiving. The visits each day by Dr. Mackey ready to address any questions you may have; the anesthesiologists who were very thorough and accurate in their description of what to expect; and the nurses such as Bonnie who kept peeking around the curtain to make sure you are comfortable, warm enough, in need of anything; those acts of kindness are what stands out and what I have passed on to others that have asked about my experience. I was apprehensive about having cataract surgery done. After my consultation meeting I was confident that I was in good hands. Every test they took was thoroughly explained. I was treated with courtesy and respect. The day of my surgery was about as stress free as you could ask for. Again, everything was thoroughly explained and they did everything to put you at ease. Dr Mackey was fantastic. Before the procedure, everything on my tv was blurry. The next day it was crystal clear I couldn't believe the difference. I know that in the future I will need this done to my other eye. I guarantee you that I will return here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Eye Center of Southern Indiana.

Folks were quite nice and thorough and experienced with their duties. Wife was with me and they were courteous to her needs (she has to use a walker). I am confident the surgery will go without a hitch .....
