I am super excited to get my glasses!!! I feel the customer care lady really was insightful in helping decide what all was a good decision for my budget and my wants. Only way it would of been better was a free pair of sun glasses after buying 3 pair of glasses. But it was so great of an experience. I cannot wait to get ky glasses.

The doctor was thorough, patient, and fully transparent with my exam results. I've seen this doctor for several years now and she has always been able to answer any and all of my questions such that someone who has a relatively common level of eye healthcare knowledge like I do can understand. The VW associates I've seen at this location in the past have always been sufficient for my needs. However, the associates present at my most recent visit were exceptionally kind, smart, and extraordinarily accommodating in assisting me with a frame choice. One of the major pluses to me was that they thoroughly examined ALL of the insurance benefit information on file to ensure my benefits were maximized and out-of-pocket expense was minimized. The associates were also very knowledgeable and informative about lens and warranty options for the pair of glasses that I purchased. They asked questions about my day-to-day and provided recommendations for lens features, such as blue light protection, without adding any pressure to add any of the recommended features; they empowered me as the ultimate decision maker, but ensured that I understood all of the information, such as the "why" behind the recommendations and the pricing differences for the different features, before I made each decision. While VW base prices for frames and lens options tend to lean towards the higher end (not by much, just slightly higher than average from my own experiences), the company generally has generous enough promotions and deals that, in some cases, can even combine with insurance benefits to offset that higher baseline. Additionally, while frame choices are relatively limited compared to online store options, I've found that this particular team of associates are very skilled at reshaping frames during pickup to ensure that the fit is just right. I've even been able to stop into the store months after picking up a pair of glasses to have them reshape them to fit my head better. The ability to do so makes me more willing purchase a new pair of glasses from VW rather than using an online store where I may find a wider variety of frames to choose from. Overall, I would recommend VW Bloomington to anyone who may be looking for a regular location to receive an eye exam and/or purchase a pair of glasses with an existing prescription. The personal experience one receives from this location far outweighs any minor drawbacks that I've mentioned here, most of which only exist due to the nature of this being a physical location rather than an online store.

Very friendly & still professional staff. Employees were very helpful to my specific needs and even helped me find the frames I really needed (extra lightweight) and I greatly appreciated that. I also love that they offer extra services for your glasses, special coatings, warranty etc, but if you chose not to use it they'll take it off, no pushing to get those extra services. Thank you.

From walking in to leaving the employees were super nice and made you feel right at home the Dr. Was great I would highly recommend and I hope you read this and take care of your employees they deserve it
