Northside Eyecare

This was my first time in this eye care shop, and everyone is very friendly. But after a nice lady finished with my eye measurements, etc. I was told to go look at all the frames and pick out the frames I liked while I waited on the optometrist to call me into the room. In which my appointment was at 8:45 a.m. and the lady was done with me by 9:15 a.m. and as I looked at my clock and saw it was then 10:58 a.m. and I had a Doctor's appointment at 11:10 a.m. with a different doctor, I had to stop one of the ladies as she walked by and asked if she knew how much longer it would be for the optometrist to call me into his room, she was very apologetic that I had been waiting almost an two hours for him to call me in, she decided to go on and take me to his room and told him I had waiting. And I totally understand that sometimes things like this happen's sometimes. So I do want to give this place another try because my daughter has been going here for the past 5 years and she loves it.

Only place I know that accepts H.I.P. Staff is Very Helpful, and FRIENDLY!!! They don't look down on you for having medicade. Love the Christian music! ONLY NEGATIVE!! Why it's 4. And not 5. So many places have "glasses in an hour". They take 2- 3 WEEKS!!!!!!!!

The actual optometrists are really good. But just don't get your glasses and frames there because they will rush you out the door and give you some standard treatment. This happened three times in a row and I've had it I'm just not going back to the office.

I visited for the first time this week. I was very impressed by all staff. Everyone was friendly and explained in detail each test. Dr. Russ was very nice and put me at ease immediately. The process of picking out new frames was quick and easy. I will definitely recommend Northside Eyecare to others.

Update: Still highly recommend. Dr. Hannah Powers is the best for little ones. And for adults! She is so patient and always goes above and beyond for us. Got an appointment right away. Doctor and staff were amazing and professional. Didn't push me to buy anything. Eye exam was very thorough. 4 stars because nobody was wearing a mask. Made me very uncomfortable considering what's going on in the world.

My 15 yr old daughter goes here and I used to as well, but saw different eye doctors. I went for years before my insurance changed, and she just started after needing glasses. We've never had a bad experience and staff has been very friendly. Even received a free trial pair of daily contacts once. Will continue going.

Super friendly staff from the front desk to check out and everyone in between that cared for me with taking images and picking out glasses. The office got me in really quick too which is a definite plus since I was having some issues. Dr.Irvin was super professional and very caring! Highly recommend Northside Eyecare!

More than met my expectations. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Top of the line equipment. Really nice frame selection! I had trouble picking a pair, because of all the good choices covered by insurance. Got a script for contacts as well!
