Walmart Vision & Glasses

Had my first visit a few weeks ago. Nobody bothered to check what prescription I had in the glasses I was wearing. Didn't ask for records from my previous optometrist. The doctor just guessed what my prescription should be. I got my new glasses done at a different location because I didn't live in Evansville. The prescription was way wrong. They were too strong. The location I got the glasses, the ladies there were telling me that I had to wear the glasses and get use to them. There was absolutely no way of getting used to them. The ladies got mad at me because I wouldn't wear them. Went for a second exam at the west side Walmart. The doctor changed the prescription, but he made it to where I had to hold something 6-7" from my face to read anything. I got the glasses from the same place as the others. I was told there again that I HAD to wear the glasses to get use to them. I tried them for 2 days, and they still weren't right. When I returned the glasses the ladies at the location I got the glasses, were rude and hateful to me because of it. In all the years I have worn glasses, I have never had this problem. Even started wearing bifocals years ago, I had absolutely no problems. I will never recommend any to this vision center.

So let me get this straight. You will get a reminder to use the warranty, but not a reminder when it expires, the same service I've gotten from all of my other eye doctors. If you do decide to waste your money here, set the date in your calendar so you can actually get your money's worth. And to the spiked hair lady, waving and saying "bye" to a customer is not the way to handle anything. I had an issue, and you did nothing to resolve it other than tell me that "your warranty is expired, you need a new prescription" like a pre-recorded phone prompt. I see a downward trend of reviews since I got my original pair, guess I'll take my money elsewhere

The doctor really understood my goals for the appointment, worked efficiently, and provided an excellent experience. I had a bad experience at another place. I won't call them out, but they were much more expensive in a building that's shaped like an ice cube. I didn't feel like I was getting a Walmart level of service at this optometrist, I felt like this guy could work anywhere.

Very affordable, great customer service, and great doctor. I showed up early for my appointment and was seen right away. My glasses came two days later and I had to pay a fraction of what I have had to pay in the past at other places. The prescription is spot on and I love my frames.

The optometrist and staff saw me as an emergency walk-in patient on New Year's Eve. a few days ago. The optometrist quickly diagnosed my ailment (a viral infection) and prescribed eye drops that worked almost immediately. Many thanks to him and the staff for making my holiday weekend a wonderful one to remember. My wife and I really appreciate their kindness and professionalism!

I absolutely love Walmart's Vision Center for the simple fact that it is convenient, professional, and a very affordable! There's always somebody on hand to tend to your needs and give you good answers for all of your questions in the most helpful way. Today I had to go in because a spring broke on my earpiece and they gave me a whole new frame for my glasses I did not expect that so definitely all in all Walmart vision is my go-to place from now on they have went above and beyond to help me!

I have been going to Dr Seavers for many years and love the Personal experience, and the staff he has are phenomenal! They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!

I have been a customer with the walmart vision center for quite some time now and I have never been unsatisfied great doctor and most of the staff is very kind and respectful I will continue to go there and they do have great prices.
