Frechette Eye Center

I arrived 10 minutes early as they requested at the Morgantown location. I had called last week and told them I had another appointment 2 hours later in Greenwood. The woman said that they would have me out in time to make the second appointment. After waiting almost an hour to see the doctor, I left. My time is worth something too. If I run on time, they should at least try to run on time.

Very nice, educated staff. I was in a lot of pain and couldn't see much they took gentle care with my injured eye and got me seeing again.

Please don't NOT go this eye center Rude staff... Expensive I'm serious. Recommend to go elsewhere ....not this Francette Eye center or you be sorry

I love Dr Olivia, I saw her where she use to practice and decided to follow her here. The guy doing the initial testing doesn't introduce himself just starts telling me what to do. Then admits he has to repeat something because "I usually don't do this I am filling in". I see Dr Olivia who is great as always. While checking out they couldn't get the printer to work so they said they would mail me my detailed receipt. It never comes, I called 4 times to check on invoice because I need it for my flex spending and I needed to order contacts. No one ever returns calls. I call my flex spending people to dispute the charges because what they charged me was significantly more than what my Explanation of benefits says I owe. My flex spending lady tells me she will try to get a hold of them for me. (I work in a hospital and know we often have direct numbers to reach people). While waiting for that to happen I drive to where Dr Olivia use to practice and ask them if I can just order my contacts from them. They say yes AND look up my insurance to see what this place charged and printed it all out and showed me what was billed to insurance and what I should have been charged. I will not be going back. It's a shame the staff is so terrible.

If you could give 0 stars I would. This was the worst financial experience I have ever had with getting an exam. I have excellent insurance and I have never paid more than $100 for an exam AND contacts. I paid $200 day of the exam and that did not include any contacts or glasses. They told me my insurance was just a discount program, not true. I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance saying all I owed them was $5. When I called them they said I still had a $5 balance even after I paid $200 and my insurance company paid them too. RIP OFF. I still have no contacts or glasses, but I promise I will never, ever return to this office.

Been going to this practice for 5+ years. When I moved to Indy from Franklin, I still make the drive south to be seen at this practice. Providers are very thorough and assess your overall eye / retinal / lens health, which is great if eye disease runs in your family. Frame and lens warranties are great. If you feel like your Rx needs tweaking, they'll remake your lenses for free until your Rx feels right. I've had several vision insurances over the years and they've always been in network for me.

This place is amazing!!!! I love it! The woman who did my exam was amazing including everyone in the place! I got my glasses in only 3 days! I went to tavel when I was 16 and they told me that I was fine other than my left eye was messed up a bit but they wouldn't tell me what it was. Tavel also told me to sit in front of my classes which I was already doing. So when i went to this place I was already skeptical but they turned out to be the best place in the world. I finally know what's wrong with my eye and I have a pair of glasses I love.

I will never return or recommend this eye center to anyone. It took 3 hours to get a regular glasses and contact exam. Then they completely screwed up the prescription,resulting in another hour visit. I asked for Rx to be mailed since they needed the doctor to sign off. It never got mailed. Stopped into get Rx...they said they forgot to charge $160 contact fitting fee and would need to collect that before releasing Rx. Granted they had already billed my insurance and collected $100 from me as well. I refused to pay it. This is the most expensive contact fitting I have ever heard of. Typically an exam plus fitting is only around $100 total. Plus it is not my fault they forgot to charge a fee. Any decent business would just eat that cost because it was their mistake and not argue. They ended up giving me the prescription..probably just to get rid of me. Their contact and glasses prices even with insurance are insanely high. After 6 hours of time, I walked away with a contact Rx. Seriously save yourself time and money...just go to Wal-Mart Optical.
