I would 10 out of 10 recommend this office to all of my friends and family. I got pecked in the eye by a chicken on Saturday and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. They treated me with respect, and genuinely cared about my situation. The doctor ensured I fully understood my diagnoses and treatment and reason behind the treatment. This is my very first time to the office and they treated me as though I had been going to their office for years and years. They made it an extremely comfortable and smooth process.

I have been coming to the office since I was about 8 or 9 years old I'm now 27 and all of my kids see doc Barnes he is a wonderful doc who genuinely seems to care and is always quick to help find a frame to fit exactly what ur looking for . I personally am very very picky it's hard for me to choose a frame becuz there's so many factors I base my decision off of is it too thick plastic or metal big or small is the color right and as soon as I'm ready to give up doc Charley pops out of know where with just the right ones thanks for always giving us a family friendly experience !!!

Dr Barnes was very thorough and personable. Would recommend for anyone.and I'm hard to please but no really this is one of first reviews I have ever done and I actually took the time to do this. No really Dr Barnes was amazing he was running all over the place trying to find me different colors in the frames I liked he really cared and took his time w me.

This place was good when dr Betty was there. I asked for new blue blocker lenses recently. I picked them up and they were just regular lenses. I didn't get what I paid for. They told me to turn them back in and they will remake it. I got them back a week later and I have the same problem

The best optometrist I have ever been to. If you have kids, definitely take them to see Dr. Charley Barnes. He is absolutely wonderful working with kids, even very young ones. He also helps to educate the parent on what the vision issues are and takes his time during exams. My two boys, 6 and 4, loved their experience and can't wait for their new glasses to come in. My family will continue to come here for our vision needs.

Wonderful experience! I had a few issues with Tavel and Midwest eye consultants in Columbus not wanting to verify my insurance or claiming I didnt have insurance so I called Monroe optical and they were just amazing. The office girl made sure to verify everything with my insurance before I drove in for my appointment to make sure the process would go as smooth as possible.The eye exam was fast and accurate the eye doctor was very friendly and picking out my glasses was fast and also easy as they had hundreds of styles to choose from and the girls and gentleman that make the lenses were awesome. I would definitely recommend Monroe optical and wont go anywhere else for my eyes from here on out !

Two weeks ago, I made a new patient appointment, and confirmed they accepted our insurance. After 40 minutes there, they then told us they did not accept our insurance, as of yesterday. Could have explained that when they called to confirm the appointment instead of wasting our time. Exceptionally unprofessional.

I've seen Charley since I was 11 and now my children see him! Very comfortable and works very well with children! Highly recommend!!
