Target Optical

This is a good office but the recent lack of communication is very disappointing and a massive inconvenience. I believe this is due the newer staff they've introduced in the past few years. I've been a patient of Dr. David for 14 years. This week I came in for my yearly appointment to be told that my insurance is no longer accepted. I completely understand that, but I do not understand why I wasn't informed before my appointment. I received texts and emails confirming my appointment, but never a notice about the insurance. They did claim to try and contact me, but I have no receipt of this, nor were they able to provide receipt of this. I feel this could've been handled better, as they had to have know they no longer accepted this insurance well in advance. Very disappointed to have to find a new doctor so abruptly after 14 years as a patient of Dr. David. If you are looking to be a patient at this location, I recommend taking communication with the office completely into your own hands as this is not the first instance of not being told information until time of appointment that I would've needed to know prior to said appointment. Ultimately, it's an inconvenient office to be a patient of nowadays.

I don't normally leave reviews but the staff here are fantastic. I just came in to get an eye exam and some glasses. They are personable and treated me like a human being. Versus most retail experiences with the indifference, passive aggressiveness, and or robotic corporate upsell the whole time.

Definitely need better staff. I wanted to get a pair of glasses based on a coupon that I received for purchasing contacts. Coupon wasn't valid due to my need for upgraded lenses, but was offered a different option so continued with purchase. My complaint is with the staff member who didn't remotely help me with picking a pair, did not give suggestions, and I had to ask her if she would look at them on my face to see if they were okay. Same worker was there for me to pickup my glasses... Was rude because I was there at open and she obviously was running behind and said I'm not open yet, with the gate already open and it was past the 9am start time. Came back out and said I assume you're here to pick up your glasses and I said yes. Proceeded to go get glasses without confirming any of my info and said here you go and walked away. She came back out and asked if the glasses were good and I simply said I wasn't sure because I wearing contacts at the moment. Rude when I wanted a receipt that I guess only a manger can print. Then when I walked away .. I heard her rudely say bye bye. Do better... Or seriously find a job not dealing with helping people. Seriously disappointed. My exam with the doctor was great however and other staff member interactions have been fine.

Tommy was very helpful and answered all my questions!! He was more helpful in the 1st 5 minutes than my last eye doctors office was in 6 years!! I was very impressed with the different styles and high in brands! My wife was even impressed!! We will definitely be returning and spending the word on how great our experience was!!

Everyone at this office is great! I was greeted when I walked in the door. Dr. Heverly did a fantastic job! She is very personable and answered several questions I had regarding my eyes. Tommy assisted in finding the perfect eyeglasses (along with other staff giving their opinions). Very friendly atmosphere that resulted in a great experience.

If you want top notch service Target Optical is the place!! Tommy was so honest about the frame choices and getting my insurance for me. He is so nice!! Another gal ( I can't remember her name ) was also very helpful!

I do not regret my decision to try Target Optical. Not only was I met with very friendly, professional and helpful service providers, but my glasses arrived way ahead of schedule and I must admit that this is the very first time that my vision is this sharp! Target Optical completely nailed it!

My visit today was exceptional! I had Tommy helping fix a couple pair of my prescription glasses & sunglasses with ease! Such a quick and helpful visit. And Emily was very welcoming, also. Tommy informed me all about these amazing Ray-Ban Meta Smart glasses. I can 100% recommend Target Optical in Greenwood, IN for amazing glasses and top-notch services.
