Drs Roush & Will Optometrists

I wanted to share feedback from our recent visit. I truly love Dr. Roush and Will, and the office overall. We have always had positive experiences and this was the first time I've ever felt uncomfortable. During our visit, I had questions regarding my children's lenses and frames. Unfortunately, a staff member named Katherine spoke to me in a loud and rude manner. I was taken aback, as there was no reason to be spoken to that way, especially while asking reasonable questions as a parent and customer. I felt it was important to share this because it does not reflect the level of care and professionalism I've consistently experienced with their practice and hope this gets addressed moving forward so other customers don't get treated the same way.

Ordered contacts a month ago. Ive had issues in the past with contacts taking a long time or someone forgot to order them at this location. Ive called several times and this morning at 9:00 I was told after some pleading that they would call the manufacture and let me know by 4:00 pm when they close what was going on. I called at 3:30 since I still had not heard and they went and asked the lab who again said they would have to call. I was promised they would do that already. The lady was rude and told me she is admin and was busy and doesn't know. I'm sorry she answered the phone and she made it clear its not her job but who can help me? I finally found the name of the manager on a bad google review and called her. She called the manufacturer and once again, there was a problem with my order that she fixed. That is exactly what I tried to tell the last 3 people I talked to. That its always my strange prescription and they should call about it. No one could be bothered to check it out. Thank God for Daphne who at least figured it out for me! She was so nice on the phone. She is the reason y'all get a 3 star review instead of 1.I'm so tired of being out of contacts.

Very unprofessional. Came in for a contact exam and from go street things were a mess. Had to remind the doctor I was there for contacts as he tried to finalize my exam. He didn't even properly fit me, he grabbed a pair of lenses and threw them in my eyes and said come back in a week. He then very grossly touched my thigh on two different occasions. I am sorry but there is no reason for an eye doctor who's a man and alone with a woman in a room, need to touch their thigh. Fast forward to checkout. I received retinal photography which was covered by my insurance. The office staff argued with me that I signed a paper that I would pay because insurance would not. They tried telling me that I didn't know how to read my coverage details, when I in fact work for insurance. I know how to read a schedule of benefits. Finally months later guess what the doctors office received and never contacted me about? The money for my retinal photography, you know the one insurance wouldn't cover because I don't know how to read my benefit, the one they made me pay out of pocket for. But to make matters worse, I have to call you and explain what's happening and ask where my money is! You state a credit is placed on the account, that is bull. I should have received a refund immediately. I will also be making a formal provider complaint with Eyemed.

This is the worst pediatric eye Dr office!! Don't bring more then 1 child in, they will straight up tell you are you all coming in the room? If so we have only 1 chair and it's not professional.. The lady who took us back refused to allow both parents to speak.. looked at one parent and said who are you and said I'm not talking to you!! I'm only talking about to one parent!! This has been the worst experience we've ever had!! When we told the Dr about this lady he was non apologetic!! Rude!! I'm not a fan of any of the drs .. The Dr Lichlyter is Not at all patient with a 3 year old and after he did his 3rd exam he sent in Dr Elizabeth in for a second opinion and her first Rude response was wow there are a lot of people in here ( mind you the kids were all being quiet and sitting .. Then proceeded to say that 3 year old can easily be distracted as if this was his first eye exam !! She proceeded to do an exam but argued with every possible answer to questions my daughter was asked!! This Dr was unprofessional! Upon leaving I looked around the front lobby for a limit of how many children were allowed in the room and saw nothing.. I asked the receptionist if there was a sign in how many kids allowed and she was like no why? I just said hmm strange and she then said well maybe not in the lobby but back in the room.. I'm so done with this place!! I will be calling someone higher up about the place!! This 3rd visit was the last!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. After getting an eye exam, my husband took his prescription somewhere else to be filled because glasses are just too expensive here. Well after getting his glasses back, his sight was worse with them. We talked to several optometrists about his issues and they all said his script was clearly wrong. He had just had his exam a couple weeks ago... so obviously his script wouldn't have changed. The place that we got his glasses said if he went and had his script fixed they wouldn't charge him to fix his glasses because that'd be a lot. So we call and ask to have his script fixed by being re-examined. We were told that since we didn't buy the glasses here that they can't just re-do the exam. But that we had to pay for them to re-evaluate him and fix it. We aren't asking for the to fix the glasses...? The SCRIPT was what they were responsible for. Regardless of where we purchased glasses. Our insurance company y already paid for an exam so this would be out of pocket because they won't right their wrong without us paying for it. My husband and I will not be returning. It just seems like there is too much greed and not enough integrity.

The eye exam itself was a good experience. I have been very happy with how they keep close tabs on the health of me eyes. The reason for two stars however...it has been a nightmare to try to order contacts. It took at least 4 weeks just to get a trial pair. I do not have good eyesight. I could be blind by the time the contacts come in!

I've been going to Doctor Roush when Doctor Roush Senior was there. Now I will never trust them again. They missed diagnosed me than want me to pay an outrageous price for their products instead of telling me of an over counter product that works for a reasonable price. They charge me the same price for glasses that was totally two different price, one frame was 200 something and the other 90-100 but it still came out to be the same price. ????? How is that??? I think it's all about the money!!
