Beyond pleased with my experience at this location!!! Went for a full eye exam and left with a smile and an awesome pair of name brand glasses(the lenses will be ready in a week or so) Everyone from the doctor, to the receptionist, to the ladies in the office were all super helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to see an awesome doctor and an amazing store!

I want to say thank you too Rx optical. Especially Lauren Dickinson. So nice and helpful You saved me a bunch of money. On my frames and lenses. With no vision insurance. I thought I got a great deal. Thanks again! Differently will be back

Update on previous review: I took my new glasses back to RX Optical in Kendalville and returned them under their "satisfaction guarantee" because they are too heavy on my face (ears and nose). I requested that they order lenses to fit my current frames (which are "ultra light" according to them). Now the issue I have is, which I'll address to them when I get the lenses, is the major price difference. I have to pay over $400 out of pocket AFTER insurance on the glasses that I returned as unsatisfactory. SO WHERE'S THE PARTIAL REFUND ON MY CO-PAY????

First thing was the doctor, all he did was check that my astigmatism was still there. He didn't ask me to read ANYTHING with the prescription he gave me. I told him I was an honor student, so he decided that meant my grades would be affected by my sight. I was in highschool not elementary. Then I went to choose my frame. 2 women had been helping me try on different ones. I mostly was looking for larger and different shaped frames. They found a pair that was exactly like my original frames, PRESSURING me to pick them... because it was THEIR favourite. Talking me out of frames I really liked, saying my face was too small, and they wouldn't stay on my face. And continuing to push those frames after I said I DID NOT like them. I've never experienced something so unprofessional. After the battle of trying to find frames everyone could agree on I was told... Oh I like those ones but I really wish you picked the other frames. I fear for what kind of damage that could do to someone who doesn't fight for something they actually like. I will never enter that store ever again.

Very friendly staff but had an appointment for several weeks. Called a week ahead and said the Doctor will be at another location that day and I would have to reschedule. This would be a couple more months out. Inappropriate to schedule patient when you don't have a doctor. Will not be going back.

I'm weird about eyes, I don't like to touch them or have the air puff thing done. I dread going to the eye doctor, but Dr Bob and the staff at Rx Kendallville are amazing. Best experience I've ever had at the eye doctor!
