The lady helping me pick my glasses and the doctor were the only two people who knew how to treat a customer. The receptionist and the lady in the back who can also take payments are just plain rude with a stanky attitude. Not only did she mention THREE TIMES that I had Medicaid. I also had to mention THREE TIMES I didn't care about the price of my glasses that I could afford to pay whatever is left out of pocket. (Referring to the older lady who took my payment in the back)

At first I thought it was my imagination because in past visits things were so much different. Then I saw the other recent posts. Receptionist has no business being the 1st person a customer meets. She must seriously hate her job more than the others. 2nd time I got same attitude from her. All but 2 others I encountered also had the "I hate being here" attitudes. Dr I saw basically told me nothing. I left knowing no more than when I went in and no effort put forth to investigate situation. Just a "take this". Basically same attitude as the others. The only 2 pleasant personalities was the person who goes over basic personal info in the beginning, not check-out & the person on the South wall who helps pick out & explain glasses options. Sounds like the same 2 others mentioned. Really disappointed with such drastic changes there. Eyesight & protecting it should be a major concern of an optometrists office. No? If you also think it should, maybe try elsewhere.

Ive been going here since it was Dr. Faucets office just up the hill. Never had an issue! The doctor i see now is great and the rest of the staff have been good too.

I had an appt today Feb 10th at 9:30 am I just got a call at 8:00am saying my appt was canceled because the eye doctor called off sick today! She was sick! Yeah day after Super Bowl probably got drunk ! And they couldn't get me in anytime day or time I was available to come in for the rest of the month ! What a joke I just canceled all together and said I'll go somewhere else that treats customers better! Glad I woke up early for nothing

Been a patient there for about 6 years. Dr. Frieden is awesome. Receptionist and billing clerk in Logansport need a class in customer service. Had a question about my insurance and was told I had to bring my card in so they could see it. Just to confirm what I told them on the phone. Basically feel like they were telling me I'm lying. Sorry to leave the doctor but not them.

I requested an appointment online. I was clear that I'm completely out of contacts and my glasses are broken. They called and I explained the situation. They said I would have to wait 1.5-2 months for an appointment. I get it if it is just a checkup, but I can't see at all without glasses or contacts, and they clearly had zero interest in finding a solution. They obviously don't care about patients, and I can't imagine any reason to put my eye health in the hands of people who see patient care as an annoyance. They didn't even seem to want to take my call. I could hear laughter and stuff in the background. The person talking to me was sullen and uncooperative, which was probably because my call was keeping her from sitting around talking and laughing with her coworkers. She insisted that my insurance was not my insurance, even though she is certainly wrong. I could practically hear her eyes rolling all the way back in my head when I read her exactly what the card said. She waited until I had given all my info (including my social security number) before telling me about this two month wait. So yeah, if you have broken glasses and/or are out of contacts, don't even bother with them, because they will not find a way to get your corrective lenses to you in a workable timeframe.

I received notification that my long time Eye Dr. was retiring, I have heard good things about Midwest Eye Consultants and decided to schedule an appointment with their office. Over the course of a month I have attempted to schedule an appointment 3 times, each time I left voicemail requesting a call back. I have not received a call back. I guess they don't want/need my business. I understand being understaffed but they have had more than enough time to return my call. I will find another eye Dr. to work with.

I had an eye exam and new glasses were ordered. After a few weeks I realized I wasn't seeing as I should. They quickly got me another appointment; adjustments were ordered. I picked these newest glasses and it's all been great since. They were really kind and understanding. Not once was I patronized. This kind of service is why I've been using this office for many years.
