The staff is really nice, professional & courteous! But I just can't stand the WAIT TIME!! it truly drives me crazy! It's always about an hour or more- just to be seen- then another 20-35 more till the Dr comes in!! Thinking about going somewhere else.

I recently had a referral from the Department of veteran affairs to go to an appointment with them. The receptionist told me I had a ride my full Social Security number for VA billing. This is absolutely not the policy of the Department of veterans affairs, and I called them out on it. They sent me back to the exam room. A young male doctor tried to force me to pay for the visit myself I told him I would not be doing such a thing and I'm going to be leaving and reporting them to the VA. The doctor when I told him that try to block the door for me leaving the exam room. The doctor was insistent that his VA policy to provide Social Security numbers to providers. I see multiple doctors out in town from the VA and none of the other providers require it.. I called the Department of veterans affairs. Patient advocates office to confirm what I thought, and it was true..

Not ranting on but got one question. Would they still see you if you showed up a hour and half to two hours late? They hold accountable for being on time who holds them accountable or is our time not as important as theirs. Really thinking might be last time here and look for another eye place.
