They get 3 stars because they did my wife's eyes (cataract removal, lens implants) and that turned out great. However, the follow-up appointments are an exercise in patience. My wife's last appointment was at 3:10. We arrived on time. They did not call her back to the room until almost 4:00. She was back there for maybe 15-20 minutes to put drops in her eyes to dilate them. Sent her back the waiting room and said they'd call her back in 20 minutes once her eyes were dilated. Well that 20 minutes turned into 50. They finally called her back and she sent me a text maybe 15 minutes later saying she was still waiting on the Dr. Anyway, to wrap this up, we didn't get home until almost 6:00 (we only live 5 miles from the office) and were the last patients to leave the building. How a simple "lets look in your eyes to make sure everything's ok" appointment turns into a 3+ hour ordeal is beyond me.

June , 2021 , I had Cataracts removed/ implants both Eyes .Dr.Scanemao is an amazing surgeon. I now have 20/25 in each eye . Since age 14, I have worn glasses or contacts. What a blessing now to drive without glasses... Highly recommend American Health Network Eye Specialists and their staff...

I have been seen by several of the doctors at American Health Network Eye Specialists over a 30 year period of time. I have had several retinal surgeries, cataract surgery, lasik eye surgery. The doctors and staff have all been wonderful. They are very caring and have taken great care of my eyes during some serious eye issues. I would highly recommend them if you need an eye specialist.

I haven't NOT been HAPPY with the length of time the patients have to wait for service around here!!! My Mom's appointment was 12:20pm It's 1:39pm and all they have done so far is dilated her eyes for a simple surgery (they said would only take 20-25 minutes)! It's a shame they take advantage of people's time like they do. MIST OF THEM ARE ELDERLY! I believe they overbook people & expect people to wait! They are going to have to dilate her eyes again before the surgery. There were 12 people waiting when we got here at 12:15 and there is still 12 people here waiting for some type of service. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!! They do enough to keep you here waiting on the procedure at hand

Dr. Hodkin gave me my sight back. Cataract surgery on both eyes, both 20 20 now. It was a good overall experience and I think the gift of precious sight is worth a possible long wait at an appointment.

In September I had cataract surgery. Dr.Hodkin is amazing and so is his staff. Prior to the surgery I could not see to drive. I now have 20/20 vision. I highly recommend.

They are not a glasses place . They are highly trained surgeons and staff that specialize in eyes. I get my eye shot there every 3 months and they do complete check ups before and after . I highly recomend them and I wouldn't trust any one else.

After sitting in the waiting room for over two hours and witnessing a tech loudly attempt to embarrass an elderly patient in the crowded waiting area, I asked how much longer I'd be waiting to be seen by the specialist. When I was told it was going to be another two to three hour wait before they could see me, I checked out and later called my insurance company to instruct them not to pay for an office visit if there was any billing from this appointment.
