I am extremely disappointed and upset with the level of care--or rather, the complete lack of care--my mother received from Dr. Kraig Koons. She urgently needed medical attention for a serious eye issue, and her condition was clearly not something that could wait - Yet Dr. Koons and the staff showed a troubling disregard for the urgency of her situation. Not only did he fail to prioritize her needs, but his attitude came off as dismissive and indifferent. This is absolutely unacceptable from any healthcare professional, let alone someone entrusted with something as critical as vision. The lack of responsiveness and empathy put my mother's health at serious risk, and for that, I have lost all trust in his practice. If you care about timely, compassionate, and responsible medical attention--especially in urgent situations--I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Dr. Koons has been my provider since he took over for Dr. Lenig. Recently, he has been guiding me through cataracts and lens implant issues. He is consistently patient centered and truly concerned about my vision.

I'm done with this office. Even though we are covered with vision insurance they want 140.00 up front. With stupid excuse of it may be medical or routine but they don't know until after the exam is done. BS.

I have been going to this office since I was a teenager, everyone is super nice and friendly. I have seen Davis, Lawrence, and Koons and they are really good about explaining everything about your eyes and what the game plan is if their is an issue.

We have gone to the office for a long time. We love Dr. Davis, she is very sweet and personable. We haven't had any issues until today. My daughter had an appointment scheduled for this past Saturday. When she arrived at the office they were closed for a staff event. No problem things happen. I called to let them know the error and reschedule. The office manager was very short and took no responsibility for the error in scheduling. I have asked to be called back by Dr. Davis and was told that IF she decides to call me back nothing will change. Front office staff can and will ruin a practice.

Staff was super friendly.Dr koons is friendly,funny and very personable.I have seen a few eye doctors from southern Indiana to South Carolina,and he is by far my favorite.(Even though he ruined my day with the eye dilation )He explains things so you can understand them.The young lady who helped me pick my frames was really nice too and helpful,since i couldn't see to great, to pick a good pair.overall great experience!You guys are doing a fantastic job!

Love Dr . Koons and we were also patients of Dr. Lenig. Too bad office staff is rude and not elderly friendly. I have been on the phone for 2 hours with my insurance office and eyemed. Dr. Koons staff told me my insurance was inactive. I kept calling the insurance company to see if we have insurance in a panic. That $135 charge for an office visit may not mean much to then but it does when you are old and on a fixed income. I am in tears right now. Cancel those appointments you made us make a year ahead. We won't be back! We are looking for a new eye doctor.

I will never go here again. The staff is rude and stuck up and it takes forever for eyewear to come in. I have been waiting for my son's glasses for over two weeks. His broke and he has been without and cannot see. I just got a call that the "glasses were broken in the lab" so now it's gonna be even longer. I will be taking our business elsewhere.
