Walk in really isn't welcome here. No on else in the office? A walk in will still wait an hour to be seen. Poor paper work and billing process. Always making mistakes on your bill and accidentally over charging your insurance and you. Double billed is always happening here. Get everything in writing, and keep it. You cab be billed a second and even a 3rd time 60-90 days later.

Absolutely horrifying experience. Do NOT go here. I've been trying to deal with these people for almost a month now and still am not done. My glasses broke on a Thursday and were unwearable. Tried to make an appointment at one o'clock on Saturday but they said they were no longer allowing walk ins. Had to wait until Monday to get in, and then Tuesday to finally have glasses. Had to be drove around all weekend because I was completely blind. They never called to tell me my glasses were in. They then told me that the cost I paid covered my glasses and contacts. I paid fully out of pocket for glasses and let my insurance cover contacts. I called today to confirm I wanted the contacts ordered and they told me I owed almost $80 to get them!!! I told them I already paid, and they said no, they only charged me for the exam, it's even more for contacts. So they LIED the first time I was there. I am livid! I'm trying to pay for a new home, a wedding, and a new car. I don't want to blow almost another hundred on contacts that I thought I already freaking paid for!!! Basically, this place has HORRIFYING customer service, TERRIBLE communication skills, and my entire family and I will NEVER be coming back!!!

We have came to the Terre Haute office for years and had good quality and treatment. This time, however, was terrible service. The employees barely spoke, wouldn't look at you and were very indifferent. When the associate marked my glasses for the bi focal, absolutely got it wrong. My glasses are always sent away to be made, bad eyesight, so when they came in and were off, they had to be remarked and sent off again. No apology. Called corporate office 3 times, "Ryan" never returned a call. I just came back to pick the glasses up again today. Only 2 staff working the front. 6 people here to pick up glasses, one man has waited 2 months, another lady and her daughter waited a week. It is a wreck here, we won't be back.

Sat and waited for hours before they realized that we were there to be served. One of the reception girls had seen my file and said I was a "repeat" and set my file aside, so they ignored it and hence we sat there forever, not being served. When they finally realized we needed to be seen (we were the last people there, sitting there, obviously for a reason), they came and asked why we were sitting there and we said for an exam and they looked me up and fixed the situation and got me seen. But I was in a wheelchair, so they then had an issue with that because none of their machinery was disabled-friendly so I had to get out of my wheelchair and use their not-so-safe chairs for their standard tests. The chair for the optometrist test wasn't so bad, it was safer, but I felt that they were behind the times regarding handicapped access. What's worse, we were there the year before and they were just as slow because they were "getting a new system installed" and if this is the new system, well, it genuinely sucks. For his part, the optometrist was great and he was very apologetic about the mix-up - the only person who really seemed to even care that there was one to be honest. Then, they had the audacity to expect that we would buy glasses from them after they pulled that stunt. Um, no thanks! To top off the wonderful evening, they couldn't get our insurance to tell them whether we needed to pay or not because something was wrong on the insurance side and so we left without knowing if we had a co-pay and without a script, but they did fix that later as well to be fair. So, overall, the experience was not that pleasant but it wasn't completely a disaster, either. I would not suggest going there, though, unless you have an entire day to devote to waiting.

We waited for almost an hour to be seen. I have a toddler and older child so it's very difficult to wait that long. We love Dr. Judson so we endure the wait. I gave my insurance card BEFORE the appointment so that after the appointment we could pay our copay and leave. When we arrived at the receptionist desk to pay, a woman brushed me off and said another woman was working on my paperwork. I told them we would go get my daughter's glasses adjusted while we waited to get that done. 15 minutes later, I approach the same woman I did the first time and politely said we had been waiting for over 15 minutes to literally pay a small copay, I had a grumpy, hungry toddler, and another appointment we had to make on time. I told her they could either bill me or she could run my credit card. She was visibly annoyed, huffy, and much too occupied playing on her cell phone to deal with me. It was completely unprofessional and frustrating. Besides Dr. Judson, this business leaves much to be desired in the friendliness and willing to help department.

We have used Eye Mart for several years but after this year's exam will be going somewhere else. I didn't realize when I scheduled our exam they no longer have an in-store lab. They send all glasses out and there's a 14 to 21 business day waiting period! I had wanted to use my current frames but couldn't go that long without glasses. My husband I had our exam on January 6th and still haven't received our glasses. The doctor was very knowledgeable but the other staff didn't seem to care about customer service. There was only 1 other customer in the store that day but had to wait forever to get the frames I picked out put into an order.

I miss the convenience of walking in for an appointment due to COVID, but just there today for contacts/glasses and staff was friendly and helpful. I have gone to this location many, many times since moving to this area in 1992. Dr. Loge and staff have been great for me. In and out in less than an hour with reasonable prices. Staff said they are getting ready for a remodel. It is much needed as it is looking a bit rundown. Ultimately, I just need to see well and not pay a fortune to do so and Eye-Mart fits the bill.

Impressed with the selection of frames and the very quick service. Did not expect to get my new glasses the same day.
