We love Dr Johnson and are so incredibly grateful for her help and expertise. When we were referred to 21 North it was because my son basically was unable to see out of his right eye because his brain wasn't engaging it. We were referred for vision therapy, and she understood that it was going to be very taxing on our family to do that, so she helped us to do some home exercises for two months, and in that timeframe, my son was able to get 20/20 acuity in his right eye with his glasses on, and his brain is finally using the eye. We're still working on the 3-D Vision, but it's an absolute miracle and we are so grateful for her help. I will gladly drive an hour to take him to see her.

Been taking my 95 year old mother there for years and myself. Took mom in yesterday for follow-up exam. Both of us have eye issues. Dr. Julie Grove is highly skilled and knowledgeable. My mother says she has never had such thorough exams (and I agree). We both appreciate the time she takes with our appointments and her kind and gentle demeanor. I'm a retired nurse and highly recommend her. Her staff is welcoming and professional and we have never had any issues with scheduling, re-scheduling or billing. Valparaiso is fortunate to have Dr. Julie and her staff.

I have been going here for years and the new kids area is perfect for when you have more children with you. It is light open airy and has space so you dont feel like you are taking up the whole waiting room. The DRs are amazing and so is all the staff and the nurses. My son saw Dr. Johnson for his eye exam after a friend recommended her and she was so thorough, patient, and personable! I was really impressed with the whole visit. The office was beautiful, clean, and had a ton of selections for glasses. My son got contacts as well and the staff spent so much time with him teaching him how to put them in and then helping him choose the right glasses for his face. From the time we came in to the time we left we felt so welcomed. We live 40 min away but it was worth the drive and I will be switching my other kids to 21 north for their annual eye exams.

Dr. Johnson has been the most comprehensive eye doctor I've ever met! My son was born with a congenital cataract and has been seeing eye specialists since he was two months old at Riley Ophthalmology in Indianapolis. After transferring his care to Dr. Johnson, she brought up information and helpful tips to continue to improve his eyesight into his teen years that had never been brought up even at Riley. We could not be more satisfied. I drive an hour and twenty minutes one way to get to 21 North Kids; that's how good she is. As a parent of four boys, I breathe easier having found various physicians who I trust with their care and Dr. Johnson is definitely at the top of that list.
