Insight of the Wabash

Had an eye exam on November 4th, 2025. The Dr was friendly. Was told I needed a new prescription in My glasses. I decided to use My existing frames and just paid to have new lenses put in. I gave them My frames, paid $40.00 and was told My glasses would be ready in one week. After a month of no word I went to the store to check on status of My glasses. I was told that the lab had scratched My new lenses and was told I could accept the scratched glasses or wait longer. I obviously didn't want a brand new pair of glasses to be scratched before I ever got them so I said I would wait for them to get fixed. It has now been nearly two months and still no glasses. I've went to the store several times to check on status and they keep telling Me that "they'll be here tomorrow". It is currently December 31st and still no glasses. I'm 40 years old and this is the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced in My entire life. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. If I ever receive My glasses from these people I will update this review accordingly. God Bless and Take Care UPDATE: I received a phone call yesterday (January 5, 2026). Was told that they had My glasses but that after several attempts to put lenses in My frames they could not successfully put the lenses in without scratching them due to the type of frames they were. Was told I could have My frames with the scratched lenses as well as pick out an inexpensive pair of frames and that they would put lenses in them and give to Me at no additional cost. I'll give them credit for attempting to make it right. However this does not make up for the fact that the staff on several occasions was extremely rude to Me for simply coming in to inquire about the status of My glasses. Nor does it make up for the fact that I waited over two months to get My glasses back, scratched and unusable. As well as a cheap pair of frames that I didn't want or care for. I said I would update, and I did. Overall still a horrible experience and a poor outcome after two months of waiting. I stand by My previous recommendation of taking Your business elsewhere. The staff are great and Dr. Ault is super friendly. I will only go here for all of eyesight needs.

The Doctor was amazing friendly and patient. but... I got my exam, I bought and paid for a pair of glasses from them. I then asked for the pupillary distance which was not included on the prescription. I wanted to buy a cheap second pair online. they said that policy would not permit them. Instead they needed to measure again and charge me $30. they already had the information and withheld it from me. I won't go back, I won't do business with a company that places a higher value on company policy nickle and dimeing me when they already have the information and withheld it to make another $30. Congratulations, your policy wins and our relationship is at an end. so sad. I really liked the optometrist.

My experience with Dr. McCormick has been very positive. She is very open. She explains my issues completely and is ready to refer me to an ophthalmologist if necessary. She explains her strategy very thoroughly, so that I understand my issues completely. She takes time; I don't feel like I am on an assembly line. My eyes are very important to me in my work, I trust her with them!

Dr. McCormick and her staff have been so very thorough in fitting me with a contact. She does not give up on finding the absolute correct fit. Charlee, one of her staff members, kept in contact with me by text to follow how I liked or disliked a trial given to me. By staying in communication, being aware of my questions and comments, Dr. McCormick completely went in the opposite direction/power of the contact, which has given me the most comfortable vision I've been seeking for many years! Dr. McCormick is an excellent doctor and I recommend her, and her wonderful staff, very highly!

This was the best eye exam experience I have ever had, and I've been wearing glasses for a good 30 years! The staff are polite, but personable. The atmosphere is inviting, wait area is comfortable, and Dr. McCormick is very informative.

My visit with Insight was very pleasant starting with the phone call to make the appointment. Everyone was compassionate and professional. The exam was the most thorough and informative that I have ever had. I am extremely grateful that I called Insight, and will continue my eye care there.

The only reason this place received any stars from me is because when I came in Dr. Jericho Quick was the doctor I saw. She was incredible. Her bedside manner was great and she is extremely knowledgeable. However, now she has her own practice called Quick Vision. I just called in to get my prescription from this place because Dr. Quick was not able to take her patient records with her upon leaving. They were extremely rude to me in the phone. The receptionist would not give me any of my information over the phone, even after verifying my identity. She offered to fax it to me though? I would avoid this place entirely and go to Dr. Quick's office.
