Roggy Eye Clinic

I absolutely love coming here and am so incredibly thankful for Roggy Eye Clinic! I actually moved away for about three years and tried several other eye clinics where I was living--nothing even came close to comparing to Roggy Eye Clinic, and I ended up flying back just to see Dr. Roggy. Thankfully, I've since moved back to Iowa, and I'm so grateful that Roggy Eye Clinic is now just down the road from me. Every staff member I've encountered has been genuinely kind, helpful, and welcoming. To get to the nitty-gritty: I originally started coming here based on a recommendation from a friend who also suffered from chronic dry eye. I dealt with dry eye for YEARS and honestly just accepted that my eyes would always feel that way. I tried what felt like every eye drop on the market with little to no relief. Dr. Roggy completely changed that for me. We started years ago with punctal plugs, which provided fairly significant relief. Fast forward to the latest technology--IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)! I completed four IPL treatments that were relatively pain-free, with a very thorough evaluation beforehand. At most, it felt like a tiny rubber band snap--if that--and honestly, it was nothing compared to the pain I lived with from dry eye. Dr. Roggy also introduced additional tools and treatments, and WOW. If you suffer from dry eye, CALL THIS CLINIC IMMEDIATELY. I've experienced so much relief from IPL and from all of Dr. Roggy's thoughtful recommendations. She of course also does my yearly eye exams and consistently provides exceptional care I highly, highly recommend Roggy Eye Clinic!

Had an awful time, they gave me an eye exam which was so far off my prescription that I just never wore the glasses they gave. But they reassured me that it was just that I had to get used to the glasses--it was not that. They also gave me progressives (I've never had progressives in my life) and when I got another eye exam at the UofI, They said "Who gave you progressives? You shouldn't have progressives." They also tried to pressure me into getting two separate pairs of glasses (Computer and every day glasses) when I've never had two separate pairs in my whole life. They also did a whole song and dance, telling me that my eyes prefer looking out of one specific eye (Everyone's eyes do this!!) and that because of this, I need their prescription and glasses that can help with that. Horrible place, only after your money and how much they can get you to spend to get a faulty prescription and as many pairs of glasses as you can afford.

Easy scheduling, exceptional care. I am always thrilled with the outcome of my eye appointments with Dr. Roggy. Love the new office location in Coralville! Same great service, fabulous frames.

Dr. Roggy has given my family (4 in total) excellent care in our time here in Iowa. She caught a focusing issue (convergence) in my eyes, and the recommended treatment stopped headaches and fatigue as soon as I got my new glasses. At the midway point of the year, I experienced a vision shift, and was worked in immediately to adjust my prescription, at no cost to me. Dr. Roggy took time off her lunch to diagnose me and provide options for me to consider. At my most recent appointment, she and her staff went above and beyond to max out my insurance benefits as my aging eyes have required some specialty lenses. Her staff is always professional and courteous, you could not ask for more.

I had my first visit to Roggy eye clinic today and I am now a forever customer! The ladies at the front desk are so kind over the phone when booking. Dr. Roggy was super easy to talk to and helped me get set up for success. Can't wait to be back.

I absolutely love coming here! Dr. Roggy is very knowledgeable, kind, personable, and attentive. She takes the time to listen to concerns and makes sure to answer all your questions. My husband and I had our appts the same day and we have 2 littles (a 3 year old and a 1 year old) that we had to bring with. The Roggy team was very accommodating and understanding and treated all of us well. I recommend Dr. Roggy to anyone who wants great quality vision care!

I visited the clinic for the first time and I had a great experience. Not only they have a beautiful waiting area but most importantly, Dr. Roggy is excellent and made me feel really comfortable. She answered my questions and made sure she explained every detail about my eye exam process. I've been to other eye clinics before and never had such great attention. If you're just looking for new frames for your lenses, stop by and check their selection.

Moreover, when I needed emergency treatment in the past few years, Dr. Roggy and her staff couldn't have been more helpful and considerate.
