Dr. Petersen was wonderful! She and the entire staff were very courteous and knowledgeable. I received my trial contacts within 24 hours. Picking out glasses has never been better. John provided suggestions and feedback and helped me choose frames that work with the shape of my face. They had excellent knowledge of my insurance plan and what it provided. My children had their first eye appointments as well and they made the process fun and explained every step so they felt comfortable. It was a great experience. We will be back!

I recently became a patient here. The staff was professional, friendly, and caring. Doctor Megan Petersen was great to work with. She really took time with me, and listened to my needs and concerns. I was very pleased with my appointment from start to finish.

I visited this practice today for the first time, and this was also my first time having an eye exam. Dr. Petersen was the OD I had an appointment with, and she could not have been better. She was professional and courteous, and she took the time to answer my questions. John the optician was also fun. Overall a really great experience and I would definitely recommend them to friends and family! Thank you!

We are new to the Des Moines area, so we needed a new eye doctor. I had great service with their new patient paperwork and their staff. Everyone was friendly and ready to answer any questions I had. Due to COVID, they took every measure possible to keep everyone involved safe. I appreciated their attention to detail. Dr. Peterson was wonderful! We plan to come back.

Dr. Megan is amazing! She is completely engage during our appointment. She is so caring and does a very thorough exam. She does such a great job with my kids explaining what she is doing and explaining the pictures of their eyes! I highly recommend Beaverdale Eye!!

Five stars!!! This is our 11th year seeing Dr. Brunsen and his team. Always a great experience, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Last year he saw my wife last minute on the weekend.
