I feel defeated ! I was very excited to get new glasses. The girl that helped me although very nice seemed a little out of her element since she was just helping out this store with some staffing issues that day. I was very confused on the actual cost of everything at the end and I did go back and forth with her on pricing and what i was actually looking for. So some things I thought was included in the cost turned out not to be. It is what it is and can't do anything about. During my interaction with this employee the manager came over and said something about how I need all this written down to understand what she was saying on pricing. Which seemed a little weird but thought ok maybe she is trying to help her with the process at this store and me to have a clear picture of what the prices were for each item. But was taken back by her statement. Next visit was to pick up the glasses. This time was a different girl which was very nice and helpful. She asked me how it looked and I thought it seemed fine but with any new glasses just thought I needed time to adjust. She had me read something and I told her all looked ok or I thought anyway. She let me know I could stop back with any issues. A few days later I did stop back because I was struggling to see things clearly. Same girl who gave me the glasses helped me this time. She was again very nice but at this point I start to feel like I was becoming a problem because the same manager from my 1st visit seemed to be helping her. They rounded my lenses more told me to try that. I left but got to my car and the display screen in my car seemed blurry but wanted to try cause again takes time to adjust. Next time I stopped in only the manager was there. I stopped by the desk and told them I was still having trouble. There was someone already there and someone who came in after. The manager was helping the gentleman already in the store but was in the back. I sat down just waiting my turn. She came out and immediately turned to me and said im helping him 1st since he was before me and I would need to wait but didn't say anything to the lady who came in after me. I said that's ok. but it did feel as though she was already annoyed or felt she needed to tell me that because I was going to be upset? Im not sure. It was very off-putting and i felt uncomfortable like I needed to make sure she knew I wasn't annoyed or upset so I was almost overly friendly. She made some adjustments and tilted the frames and sent me on my way. Next visit I stopped in because I have these codes and numbers on the lenses. I didn't know what they were but I can see them on the side. Which turns out to be on every transition and I was unaware. They explained that but said you usually can't see them. My old glasses have them too. I guess these are very deep or more visible. They are supposed to ask the lab. I can see but it's definitely not clear or crisp. At this point im just uncomfortable returning. So do I keep wearing the new glasses even though there not clear or do I switch back to my old ones until next November until I can get new ones and cut my losses? I would definitely do research on a handful of places before deciding where to take your eye care business.

Have come to this Dr for 27 years. My insurance sent me a notice that I'd overpaid. I would try calling occasionally, phone NEVER answered by a live person. They say the only way I'll get my refund is for me to do all the footwork. They told me it'd automatically be sent to me. I questioned them at that time that seemed awfully high. NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE. PRICES WAY ABOVE AVERAGE. I GOT 12 PAIR OF CONTACTS AND GLASSES FOR LESS THAN JUST THE LENSES HERE

They are very busy, but they have the staff to accommodate. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I got a great deal on my glasses, and they have a very good selection of frames. My best friend was the one who referred me to Eye Care of Iowa. She also made an appointment for her husband.

I recently started coming to the East location for my eye care, and I have to say they are absolutely incredible!! Out of all the locations I have gone to, the staff at the East location -are unmatched! First, a screw from my frames came out causing my lenses to pop out. I came in and they found a screw to fix them. Unfortunately that screw was not exactly the right size and it fell off again (which they warned me could happen). When I came in again, they let me know they found a better screw and the lenses haven't moved since! Then, the nose pads on my glasses broke off, so I went again for some advice on which kind to buy for replacements. Instead of advice they tried to fix them for me. However, my glasses are Ray Bans, which made it difficult to find replacements, so they put on temporary nose pads and took my information down so they could reach out to Ray Ban and try to get replacements. After a couple of weeks passed, I got a call saying they had the replacements for me! Now my glasses are fixed and better than ever! Long story short, the staff at the East location never fail to go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of! On top of that, they are always friendly and beyond helpful making sure all your needs are met, and your questions are answered! Best Eyecare of Iowa location hands down!

Dr. Blasco is always great- informative, caring and personable. Staff are consistently courteous, helpful and professional at appointments or any follow-up. Great with selecting glasses, explaining benefits/advantages and reviewing insurance coverage. Thank you!

Always very friendly. I love my eye doctor. He is always very thorough and answers all my questions. The only thing I think they are pretty pricey on lenses for your glasses.

Entire staff was very friendly and efficient. I always feel secure and confident in the care I receive from Dr Blasco. Greatly appreciated the new machine that replaces dilation of the eyes!
