I was greeted as I walked in the door.
My appointment time was 'spot on'.
Doctor greeted me and chatted about the THINGS she felt needed to be addressed. I was there for something other than an eye exam - for which was taken care of immediately.
In MY opinion, Doctor is very knowledgeable. If she doesn't feel she knows about a matter- she IMMEDIATELY helps to find THAT answer.
Doctor is very comfortable to be around.
Last BUT NOT least - the Staff is outstanding. They also put 'one' at ease for/with the 'visit.'

Staff are welcoming and friendly from setting up the appointment through the end of the visit. Dr. Mitchell is highly knowledgeable, professional, and very personable. She explains complicated issues in understandable terms. She's terrific with people of all ages, including children and seniors. All the members of my family, including myself, use corrective lenses. We love Dr. Mitchell and the staff at Grinnell Eye Care!!! Ramona listens and is knowledgeable and personable. The office staff is always helpful and kind. Janet is awesome with billing issues as my insurance is complicated. I love the fact that they are taking precautions to prevent COVID in their office by continuing to wear mask, hand sanitizer, cleaning, and social distancing. Our whole family highly recommends and in over 10 years we have never had an issue.

I have always received top notch eye care from Dr. Mitchell but this year she went even higher in providing great eye care. Due to a medical situation Dr Mitchell was going to come in after hours to examine my eyes. Luckily it could wait until regular business hours. On Monday morning Dr Mitchell contacted me to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. I called that same morning and had an appointment the same day. Excellent care for my situation.

Everyone in this office is very friendly and kind. I recommend them very highly. We've gotten our son's glasses through them as well as my own. It seems their schedule fills up rather quickly, which can seem a little difficult, but it shows how much their customers enjoy them and want to keep coming back.
