Eye Care Center of Newton

The Eye Care Center is amazing. My appointment today was great. Dr. Rhoads and her assistant treated me so well. She's helped me improve my health by cheerleading me on and that improved my eye health. I love going there. Everyone treats the clients as if we're the most important person that came in the door. HIGHLY recommended!

Eye Care Center of Newton is a top tier facility. Great doctors and staff. I began going there because I had an eye injury that was an emergency. They took such great care of me and they have state of the art equipment that shows your retina and macular in such detail. As a diabetic, this is very critical and important to me. Not only five stars, but two thumbs up with a snap. IYKYK LoL

Well where do I start Dr. Tish is awesome went to him for awhile. Here I am Eye Care Center told me I needed cataract surgery they forwarded me onto the wolf eye clinic in West Des Moines, then two days or not even two days before my surgery. I get a call from the Eye Care Center tell me if I do come to my follow up appointment after surgery which was already scheduled with the Eye Care Center will needed to be paid out of pocket because they no longer take my insurance. This is totally BULL if they took my insurance before they set up my surgeries and everything they should follow through. I will no longer be a patient or tell other to go to the Eye Care Center in Newton Iowa. Hope people get to read this for I am warning other people if they go there check before hand on everything if they take your insurance or plan on later billing you out of pocket. Not happy at all and know they really don't care of their patients and what's best for their patients unless they get extra money after the fact.

Kristin and her team are the very best!!! Always so friendly , helpful and so willing to help figure out insurance wording. You never leave without understanding your appointment details . Thank You all for taking such good care of our families eyes for the last 40 years

I really enjoyed my first appointment. From start to finish everyone was so professional and kind. Dr. Tish was thorough and informed and made me feel cared for. I highly recommend.

Great experience. I never feel rushed at my appointment. Dr Kristin is amazing. I have always been greeted when I walk in and all the staff is nice.

Always feel welcomed by the front staff when I come in and Dr. Rhodes along with her nurse make me feel like an old friend which I'm certain they do with every one of their patients! Today I had the pleasure of working with Mara while choosing my new sunglasses and she made my already wonderful office visit even better! She was thoughtful in her suggestions for frames and very patient while I was trying to decide, plus had some really great suggestions along the way. She's a definite asset to your office for sure! Thank you again Mara! I would highly recommend to all that they make the Newton Eye Center their eye care home, I promise you won't want to go anywhere else!

Dr. Tish treats our family and we all think he's great. The staff does a great job making sure you maximize your insurance benefits to get the best deals possible and their care after you get your glasses is the best!
