Staff was very nice, the Dr. very thorough. However my Medicare Advantage program didn't cover my lenses there. They use a higher quality lens material that isn't covered. I will have to order my glasses somewhere else to get them for free.

The staff is #1! Dr. Lee is an amazing doctor. He is kind, patient, thorough and works to make sure I have the best eye care. I appreciate everyone in this office. I feel the same every time I go in. Went to Eye Care Of Iowa Pleasant Hill early March. Was quoted for glasses and exam and was asked if I wanted to proceed and said yes. Staff was friendly and cordial. Received an additional invoice late April for $251.54 for exam? Called and was told insurance didn't cover exam nothing could be done, sorry. Called previous provider Iowa Eye Mart and eye exam runs $75. With cost of glasses and exam won't be going back.

On my first visit, I was treated with such care and kindness and was helped with everything I needed. I was blessed to be able to return to have prescription sunglasses ordered and received the same care and kindness in completing my order. I plan to go back and shop :)
UPDATE: I did return and got a pair of every day prescription eyewear, and so far very pleased with them, as well as the caring service received, again! Wonderful people at this location in Pleasant Hill, Iowa :)
UPDATE #2: I have, again, returned and purchased another Rx for my back up sunglasses, as well as a pair of backup every day Rx eyewear. Each time I have paid a visit, ALL staff have been so very kind and helpful. I feel very blessed to have stumbled upon this place. I will continue my business with them as long as their customer care continues to be so warm and accommodating and their service so professional and accurate :)
Upon acquiring my backup daily eyewear glasses. I am, once again, extremely pleased with the overall experience. It did take a wee bit longer getting these, but since they are mainly a backup pair, it was not a problem at all. Always treated so nicely. They are very appreciated!!!
