What a disgrace! Dr. Burke I expected so much better . Today I had an appointment at 8:45 and was on time I expected some paperwork but I didn't expect to be LIED to , the clerk said that I was mailed my medical history and paperwork in advance. LIAR . Never got the the paperwork and I'm sure she just LIED . Next I was treated professionally and seen by Dr. Burke that's where the respect ends! The eyeglass person is a shyster ! I can but the EXCACT same pair of glasses online for $202.00 , she charged me $527. , guys I know that there is some mark-up for local but 150% is ludicrous. I should have suspected something when she told me that my United Healthcare wasn't welcome . I recommend going to Wal-Mart eye care . What a pity for Spencer when a local is so devious that it cannot be trusted . Sad days .

1 star is really due to the receptionist Dr. Butler has working there. Came in for my appointment. Receptionist looked at me like what the heck are you doing here. I said I have a 10:15 appointment. She says ok opens up a black book looks at it a second then looks back at me and says, you can go sit down (in a condescending tone mind you). So I shrug that off like "ok I wasn't sure if you needed more info but whatever " is my thought. So I sit down, she starts whispering to the other girl "I can't remember what he's here for". the other girl she says this to remembers me, so she says oh yea he is here for a cold sore in his eye. Then the other one proceeds with "oh! You know that's herpes right!?".. so now I'm kinda like what the hell is wrong with this girl. Mind you I have dealt with cold sores since I was a child but the way she said it was disgusted. Which fair but save that crap for when the patient can't hear you.She then mentions she should probably add my medication to my file cause she forgot to last time. Then she starts gossiping about other patients and their attitudes when they come in and at that point I tunned them out cause it was just so unprofessional. Then I waited 45 minutes for the doctor to come in the room which that one is kinda eh cause I don't know what he has going on but also 45 minutes after my appointment is when you walk in the room.. like try to value the patients time a little more and have receptionists that know to talk crap when they don't have any patients in the waiting room.

Dr. Butler and his staff are top notch. Dr. took time to answer all my questions in a way that I could understand. Staff members are very friendly. Had no issues with them accepting my insurance

Shady Eye Center, went to the webpage and said they would take my insurance and waited until after the Appointment to tell me that there other locations take it but they done! DON'T TRUST THEM!! They need to change it on there webpage if that only 2 of there 3 locations take some insurance.

Staff and doctor were excellent. My entire family goes there and I am confident in the medical quality of the exam and eyewear. I highly recommend.

Despite not speaking the same language, everyone was very friendly. Appointments are much closer compared to other places. The receptionist was a bit serious but very kind. Reasonable prices.
