I had an amazing experience at Modern Vision Centers from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Every step of the vision testing process was smooth, thorough, and explained clearly.
The doctor was absolutely fantastic--he took his time, encouraged me to ask questions (and I had a lot!), and explained the different procedure options in great detail. He even used models to help me really understand how everything works, which made me feel informed and confident in my care.
The building itself is beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, which made the visit even more enjoyable. And to top it all off, I was sent home with a cookie--such a thoughtful touch!
I highly recommend Modern Vision Centers to anyone looking for excellent care, knowledgeable providers, and a genuinely pleasant experience.
I absolutely loved my experience at Modern Vision Centers! From the moment you walk in, the office is stunning modern, beautifully designed, and even has fresh cookies at the front!
The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the exam itself was the most thorough I've ever had. They use brand-new, state-of-the-art technology--including machines I've never seen anywhere else and best of all, no dreaded puff of air test!
One of my favorite touches is that each exam room is themed after a local Des Moines spot, which makes the whole experience feel personal and connected to the community. It's a really fun and unique detail.
They offer everything you need--from glasses and contacts to advanced surgery options and their availability is fantastic. Able to get in almost right away, which is such a rare find these days.
I'm so glad to have found this place. It's truly a one-stop shop for all your eye care needs, and I can't recommend them enough!
I'm very happy with Modern and everyone I've seen here. I had some less than ideal experiences with one of the other places here in Des Moines, but from my very first visit with Modern, I could tell it was going to be different. They explained everything very thoroughly, and they took the time to answer any and all questions I had. Now, since the surgery, I see better than 20/20. Highly recommended.
I was a little nervous to go to a new facility....but they are the best! From front office (Susan!) to Joan in Patient Relations to the amazing tech man Jonas to Dr Milder- not a bad one in the bunch!! Highly recommend!! And, I'm picky!
The consultation was very thorough. The process is fully explained at the beginning of the appointment. Every test was explained and the tech ensured I was always comfortable prior to moving on to the next step. Dr. Milder was very informative and explained the test results in a way that was easy for me to understand. I would highly recommend Modern Vision to those considering corrective options.
Modern Vision is exceptional to work with. Besides the fact I have excellent vision in both eyes, the staff and process was easy. It was quick and streamlined to set-up my appointment. The eye exam was great with a mix of digital and traditional equipment. Everyone at Modern Vision was very helpful and treated me with respect and a great deal of care. Looking forward to upcoming appointments.
Great customer service and bedside manner from all the techs and doctors. They were prompt and explained in great detail what they were doing. Overall, it was a great process and I look forward to working with Modern Vision!
