I was rescheduled at my normal location because the doctor called off sick, and the soonest they could get me in was a week out so the following Wednesday....I didnt like that cause I already taken off work to get all my appointments taken care of.... so I went to Family Eye Care site and looked up other locations and the DeSoto location was wide open with appointments and was able to get in next morning. Dr. Russell took the time and was able to do what other doctors have failed to do in this group that took over after Dr. Norris. Dr. Norris had the gift to focus on the patient and their eyes, and I see that same passion and attention to detail in Dr. Russell. Cant forget his staff too they were soo fun and amazing to chat with. I will be sending all my friends and family to see Dr. Russell. Thank you sooooo much my headaches are going away and I can focus so much clearer now!!

Everyone was so sweet, but Toni really was my girl! I've been wearing glasses since 5th grade and I've never had someone be so helpful picking out frames. She gave me her full attention and honesty, if she didn't think they looked right she let me know and really tried to stick to frames in my price range. I had a great experience and found some cool frames!

This office is AMAZING. While I have gone to other Family EyeCare Centers, and always had a great experience, a freak accident took me to the new De Soto accident and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. My puppy accidentally scratched my eyeball, and they were able to get me in within an hour. I saw Dr. Russell, who was calming in a very stressful and pain filled moment. The cut was substantial but he walked me through every step and I left feeling like a new person. I returned the next day and thanks to the steps that he took, my eye had already healed up 75% of the way! I then continued with the at home treatment plan for the next 3 days, and on day 6, I went back for 1 more check with Dr. O'Shae, and she gave me the all clear! I could have never imagined that I would heal from such a rough injury so fast, and I'm sure I wouldn't have if it weren't for their amazing care!
