I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Foulk and was very pleased. She does a great job of explaining everything to her patients and she's friendly and engaging. I'm looking forward to getting my new glasses, and I'm happy to have found my new eye doctor.

they wanna take all your money but offer the WORST customer service. let's make that make sense

The customer service was great the lady at the front desk was very friendly. And the doctor was really nice and he was able to help me out. All around I had a great experience. I will coming back if I have any eye issues.

My mother has also had bad experience with customer service here. Receptionist is downright mean. Mom took a new pair(1 year) of broken glasses in for help and told they couldn't be repaired. The office staff were very defensive. Did not advise they could order new pair, left her without current correction lenses. Did I mention mom is 90 years old? So, they want to take your money, but offer poor customer service. I would never go there or encourage mom to go there.

When I first called Dr. Mitchell's office I explained that I wanted a prescription for eyeglasses and contact lenses. I specifically asked if the $88 dollar fee included contact lens prescriptions, as I thought it a bit high (one can get eyeglass prescriptions for $50 easily) and I wanted to be sure since I have had the trick of "full service" eye exams not quite being full service pulled on me before. The receptionist answered that it did, and so I made an appointment. If she had told me the truth, that they would not give me a contacts prescription for my $88, then I would have continued shopping. As soon as I walked in I could see (presumably the same) receptionist giving me dirty looks, probably because I have long hair. She spoke snottily to me the whole time I had to deal with her, acted too good to serve me. After the exam I was surprised when the doctor refused my contact lens exam without paying another fee. I was herded into their eyeglass sales department without anyone asking me if I wished to also buy eyeglasses from them as well, as though it were just part of the routine exam. The same snotty receptionist had the nerve to tell me I was wrong about the glasses style I prefered and insisted the didn't come with slightly larger lens areas like I like, compared to the similar ones they ahd in stock. By this time I raised the issue of the lie used to coerce me into doing business with them. The receptionist straight out called me a liar over the issue, Doctor Mitchell implied that I was a liar as well and refused to make the issue right, which would be either to refund my $88 dollars with an apology for the mistake but no mistake was admitted, or to give me the contact lens prescription. As this had gotten a little heated, they overlooked even giving me the eyeglass prescription. When I realized it, I figured they'd notice I didn't even get that and mail it to me. Five months later, they still have not given me my eyeglass prescription so I have received nothing but their insults for my $88. Doctor Mitchell's office is a place where the customer is never right, not even about the type of eyeglass frames the customer would like.

This doctor saved my life. I had what was thought to be a detached retina and it turned out to be cancer. He put me through the most extensive testing I've ever been through, including the testing at KU. He and his staff were honest and forthright; they got me where I needed to be in an expeditious manner. It really was a matter of life and death and they were with me until the very end. Steve Mitchell is still my eye doctor and will be until the day he closes his doors. Every day is a gift and thanks to him, I get another day to put my feet on the floor and thank God for the chance to do better.

I was impressed with what felt like a high quality of eye care and as a 1st time patient I appreciated the depth with which Dr Mitchell examined my eyes. I am very happy with the glasses I ordered, feels like a pair that will last a long time.

Wait from 8/20/20 to 9/30/20 to get my glass when they took my medical insurance card which I though was odd they never said they would be Charing it 95.00 in all my years getting glass I have only had to pay my co pay and some extra if I want it , so if anyone reads this ask these scammer about what they are going to do before they do it plus I got a receipt for 60.00 that says cash no description of what they did. Bunch of b.s
