Dr. Trejo was attentive, personable, professional, knowledgable, made me feel comfortable when I was nervous, answered all my questions with interest and care without making me feel rushed. The staff was also friendly, helpful and caring. The office is very clean, spacious and inviting. Thank you for supporting your patients with excellent care.
I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Drees. The office is modern and well-organized, and the staff is warm and welcoming. He was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about patient needs. My exam was comprehensive, and I appreciated the explanation of my diagnosis and treatment options. Highly recommended for anyone seeking expert eye care.
I had a great experience with my eye appointment. The facility was nice and clean and the staff was polite and answered all my questions along the way. I had Dr. Trejo and he was phenomenal. I will definitely have my yearly check-up done here every year.
Rude receptionist. Their notification system doesnt send notifications as it is supposed to. I asked what could be done and she wrote me off and said they'd get back to me at some unknown point.
If you have anything worse than near/far sightedness, definitely don't go here. The doc I see doesn't know anything about my condition.
This place is over priced and a scam. Go somewhere else.
My son and I see Dr. Ackerman and he is simply the best. It's nice to know for sure that we are well taken care of.
Also, thanks to Amie and the ladies for always being so patient and helpful at the time of my frame selections!
Highly recommend!
I have been happy with this Optometry group and used Dr Darin Hopkins for over 20 years before he left the group. In prior years I have written to office staff commending their very excellent service. However last year I bought a new set of glasses that didn't work. I had to have a new replacement lens ground but that lens still did not fix the problem. I notified them of the problem and that I still could not use my new glasses and asked the office staff to note it in my records. I was assured by office staff they would work with me until the glasses were satisfactory for me and I was asked to return when they could look at the glasses again. I live 1 1/2 hours away. Upon returning I was asked by staff if I had come for an annual exam. I stated clearly that I was not present for an annual exam but to try again to find out why I could not see clearly enough to use my new glasses and that I had called previously to notify that the glasses were still unusable.
Dr George Hopkins performed a retest. He did an excellent job and found out why I was having the trouble and fixed the problem. Everyone should be happy, right? Unfortunately I was charged by Dr Hopkins for another examination. I complained about this during the visit as I did not think it fair that I went for months without the benefit of being able to wear the glasses that I had already paid for when the reason was two previous errors on the prescription for lens. Errors can and will occasionally be made during examination and ordering and fitting of new glasses and I am understanding of this. They eventually made the glasses work for me but I should not have to pay twice for an evaluation to get glasses that I can use.
I am sad that after 20+ years with this group that I feel compelled to write this somewhat negative review and I will need to find a new optometrist. Office staff was empathetic but the optometrist was not.
Update 04/13/2019- So...received a phone call from the office staff on 4/11 asking if my glasses were working for me and I feel they are now satisfactory. No mention of there being a reversal of the second charge for the evaluation so I assumed it was due since I received a statement showing the bill in the mail. When I called to pay my bill yesterday however, there was no record of the bill on the office billing system. Have to assume the charge was therefore removed. If I had been notified of this I would never have had reason to write the above review.
We started the journey to get my husband a pair of lenses for his really crappy eyesight on March 28, 2024. I am not sure if the lab these folks work with is in a bait and switch con, but after trying to get a pair of lenses to work 4 times, without success, we walked out. We asked for a refund after I bought a pair and they were weaker than the lenses that were put in my frames from 2010. It felt like a form of insanity. Are they serious? We can't see out of these and are asked to give them a few days to adjust. If you can't see out of a pair of glasses you just put on.. they are not going to get better. Ever. Gaslighting patients into using an rx that is weaker than what they actually need is just unnecessary. I am glad to take a hit with a letter telling me to look elsewhere for my eye needs. Happily!! Husband finally went to Walmart, we paid of out pocket, and wah lah! He can see, May 23, 2024. Two months!! It shouldn't be this hard or this expensive.
Without them I would have never caught my retina detachment! I thank them for helping out my left eye! Great people as for Hopkin as well! Ackerman has became my new Doctor and took over and he does an amazing job as well! Love it there!
