I saw Dr. Werth for the first time & he was great! Very knowledgeable, detailed, enthusiastic & personable! I have a major fear of anything coming near my eyes & was even afraid to do the eye pressure test because the instrument touches your eye (lol I know)... but he was extremely kind and patient & eventually convinced me to do the test which come to find out, I couldn't even feel it touch my eye. I would highly recommend Werth Eye to anyone, we are very fortunate to have such a great optometrist in our community!

Dr Werth's office got me in right away, showed and explained all the testings. Found an issue and referred me right away to a specialist. They have a great selection of glasses. So happy with Dr. Werth!

We purchased eye glasses a year ago from Werth Eye Group. My husband's glasses cost around $1200. After a few weeks, we went back to Werth Eye Group to get them adjusted and refitted. The lenses appeared to be loose and you could feel them moving when cleaning the lenses. They told us that the lenses were not loose. A couple of months went by and we again went back for them to get adjusted and again mentioned that the lenses were loose. Again they told use they were not. Now, a year later, the lenses fell out of the glasses. We took them back and they finally said that the lenses were loose, but they were unable to get them tight so they wouldn't fall out. They figured that the lenses were not cut right. So they ordered some more lenses. When they received the lenses, they realized they were not right, so they sent them back. A couple weeks later they called us to say the lenses were in. This time they were unable to get the lenses into his frames, so they again ordered some more lenses. They arrived, already in a frame, so they took the lenses out of the new frame and out them into the old frames. My husband wore them for about two weeks, but his vision was not right. While looking at the frames one of the lenses was not fitting into the frame right--it was out at the top and bottom. We attempted to get the lenses into the frame but were unsuccessful. So, back to the eye doctor. They attempted to put the lens back into the frame and it appeared to fit in the frame, but on our way home, the top of the lens is again out of the frame. I don't think we will be going back. April 28th, Dr Werth has not reached to us as per the reply from them said that he would.

I can't recommend Werth Eye Group enough! They are friendly and inviting the moment you walk in the door. Not only is the care thorough and professional, but you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Werth takes the time to explain everything clearly and makes you feel completely comfortable. It's also evident how much he and his family care about the community--they're always giving back and staying involved. Hays is lucky to have them!

Brayden and all his staff did a great job with both myself and daughter. So nice to have a doctor that grew up in Hays and comes back here to help take excellent care of his patients. He genuinely listens to his patients concerns and goes above and beyond standards of care.

Dr Werth is the BEST hands down! He showed such knowledge, compassion and care when dealing with myself and my 9 year old! Highly recommend!
