Customer service wasn't the best. But took care of what needed to be done. The location in Kansas City is more people personal. More comfortable and inviting.

I needed an appt with an Opthalmologist because my Optometrist said I needed further testing. Their staff confirmed my appt with one (even though that Dr. Had been retired for over a year.?!) Their staff was late both times I went. They didn't schedule me with the ophthalmologist and didn't tell me so until after the exam. They didn't enter my information correctly so they couldn't find me on my second visit, where I waited for 20 min for their staff to arrive, and even after they found my information, they didn't know what test I was scheduled for, then the person who could do the exam wasn't there. These are just a couple of the many issues that I experienced here in just 2 visits. Finally, they told me they only let patients who are having surgery see their Opthalmologists. Honestly, this is the most unprofessional office I've ever experienced.

I was planning cataract surgery. The doctor did not ask what visual result I hoped for and said he "would consider changing his surgical plan" to accommodate my wishes. He further went on to say that he had no idea what the visual outcome might be, whether based on his experience with past patients, personal expectations or otherwise. I chose to have surgery done by a different provider who worked with me to get the vision result both he and I expected/hoped I would have, and the result was perfect. Based on the lens this provider was recommending, I would have been considerably near-sighted. Plus, when the bill came, they told me I owed more than $200 over my patient responsibility on insurance! This place runs people through like a factory for profitability -- not for thoughtful patient outcomes.

I was very relaxed, I have generalized anxiety disorder and everyone there was very nice and helpful, and they had all the equipment and knowledge to diagnose and explain to me my eye injury very professional

My experience with Moyes Eye Center was no less than fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I felt like I had a thorough exam from Alicia and Dr. Q and finally got the answers to my eye issues. After several years of doctor visits and different medication's Dr. Q found the issue and the right medication. I'm very grateful. I'm looking forward to my follow up. I highly recommend Moyes Eye Center in Lansing Kansas.

I was taken care of promptly with minimal wait timed, both the technicians and attending physician Dr Reifschneider did their best to make me comfortable and thoroughly go through and research and discuss my eye issues. I have been with them since 2008 and I am confident in their care. My wife had a bad experience on cataract surgery and doing lens implants, so I decrement my rating a little.
