It makes no difference how well the actual treatment is when they make you wait +40 minutes past appointment time every single time. Why bother making appointments at this place? They are consistently late, might as well just line up outside.

Terrible eye care went for diabetes eye exam they told me I have cataracts. Had another appointment for cataract check. They texted me and said I needed to reschedule so I did. Text me again and said I need to reschedule. Dr Geren was who I was seeing. Well I went to another eye doctor at Discover Vision Center. They found that I have macular degeneration. Totally missed by Dr Geren felt like I was rushed through to get the Medicare money. I highly recommend seeking eye care some other place but here. I'm glad they canceled twice on me made me find another doctor. Also there billing department is terrible sent them a check for Medicare deductible and they applied it to my stepdaughter's account. They keep sending me texts and emails saying I needed to pay called them many times to tell them I paid and finally sent them a copy of canceled check with my account number on check very bad billing department. Glad I went to Discover Vision Center very thorough eye exam was performed. Very comfortable atmosphere there not rushed.

I am thrilled that I visited Sabates Eye Center to get a second opinion after what I thought was a horribly bad diagnosis at KC Eye Clinic where I was told my night vision was worse than 20/100 even when wearing my corrective lenses. With that diagnosis, the ophthalmologist told me it was literally illegal for me to drive at night and tried to get me to commit to immediate cataract surgery. Since I had not noticed any appreciable change in my night vision and felt as though I was being hustled, I sought a second opinion. However, I must admit, I didn't sleep well for several weeks while I waited to see Dr. Camejo. Literally everyone I dealt with in setting up the appointment and securing my records from KC Eye Clinic knowledgeable, efficient and as nice as they could be. Elizabeth (Beth), who was the assisting nurse sensed my concerns and took a significant amount of time to carefully evaluate my vision using a variety of tests prior to Dr. Camejo joining us. Prior to my appointment, Beth had reviewed my charts and referenced them numerous times during her evaluations. Beth is extremely knowledgeable, very compassionate and during our conversations, commented several times how much she loves what she does and working for Sabates Eye Center. I can't begin to tell you how much that meant to me. Shortly after Beth completed her evaluations, we were joined by Dr. Camejo. After a battery of tests and examinations, he concluded my night vision is very similar to my daytime vision, which had worsened slightly since my last examination to 20/25. He advised me my vision was perfectly fine for night driving and that while I have mild cataracts, there was no need for surgery at this time. Dr. Camejo took the time to explain everything clearly and discuss the state of my macular degeneration. He also sent me home with a simple chart I can use to monitor it for any progression. The bottom line is I'm glad I trusted my instincts and I'm absolutely thrilled by the treatment I received throughout my experience with Sabates Eye Center.

I have catered surgery at 06/11/2025 and 06/25/25 still I have pain and in my eyes after 1 month doctor find out 1stich left in my eyes after i visit every time they change drops and says everything ok but but not okay drops costly over $50.00 to $75.00 once they give me over $200.00 I'm not afford thet much

If I could give them a 0 I would... I scheduled an appointment 3 months ago and I just got a text saying my appointment was cancelled and I need to reschedule. They are not giving an option to see another doctor on the same day! Staff was rude and told me because "i canceled the appointment I had no choice" first of all, I didn't cancel the appointment!

Receptionist was SUPER RUDE and acted like a complete snot when politely trying to make a new appointment. When contacts were ordered and not delivered after 40 days, they were contacted and said "they will be sent out today or tomorrow, ""backordered""--just say you forgot to place the order! Do NOT come here.

My first time having eye surgery and the friendly professional staff made me feel at ease and comfortable. They were helpful and informative as well. They are the best! Dr Cassell is so nice and my surgery was a success. I would recommend Sabates Eye Centers to everyone! They were recommended to me by a family member. And they accepted my insurance. My heartfelt thank you.

I've been going to Sabates Eye Center for several years. The doctors and technicians are very familiar with the genetic disorder I have called Marfan Syndrome. Everyone has been professional and caring, willingly answering every question I had. I'm having eye surgery on 8/16 and feel at ease placing my eyesight in their hands.
