Everyone I have encountered at this clinic has been professional, courteous & friendly. Dr. Biggerstaff is wonderful. She explains what she's doing & readily answers questions. I felt comfortable with every step through my cataract exam to surgery to post op.

Dr Bircher office did an annual examination. I was very impressed with her assistant who checked me in and did some testing. I am so happy Dr Bircher is my doctor as she is very efficient, caring, takes her time and answers all my questions and concerns. She is a true professional all the way I would recommend her very highly. I was also very happy to see that they have a machine that test your eyes so you don't have to have your eyes dilated. My experiences at Kansas City Eye Clinic have been nothing but positive. Dr. Oly and his team are outstanding. Their professionalism and caring concern gives my a confidence that my eyesight is in good hand. It is SO easy to schedule appointments and I have never had a long wait time. While the field of vision test is not my favorite, their state of the art equipment (virtual reality) make it a little more enjoyable. I love how they keep the latest equipment that gives me great confidence in their treatment. Five stars to them!!

I was not looking for a walk-in eye exam. Friends' referrals helped me choose KC Eye. The entire experience was professional, kind, and pleasant. The office was meticulously clean. The tech that I started off with (dental student) was confident he knew what he was doing. He explained things, smiled a lot, and was very personable. I will tell everyone about this office. I have found my long term eye care experts.

Dr. Biggerstaff is wonderful!!! She is so knowledgeable, professional, and caring. She made sure I have the vision plans that best meet my life situations. With Dr. Biggerstaff and her team, eye surgery felt safe. I haven't been able to see this well in 10 years after cataract surgery. I finally have crisp vision.

I initially didn't want to give this place a 3-star rating. My first visit was great; the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the experience declined significantly after that. The three stars are specifically for Dr. Nichols and the checkout staff at the back desk. Dr. Nichols is an angel and is consistently excellent and patient in his work. My negative experiences stem from other interactions. When I called to request the earliest appointment, Vicky answered. Her tone was so rude that I initially laughed in disbelief. (Like the kind of tone someone would answer when they get an unwanted call from someone for the millionth time) so rude that it was rather entertaining. I remained calm despite her continued impatience. If she dislikes phone customer service, perhaps she should consider a different role. Additionally, I waited about 30 minutes in the lobby for my appointment. On both visits, I encountered rude opticians before seeing Dr. Nichols. During my last visit, the optician was awkward and lacked communication skills. When I asked a question, she gave me a hostile look, prompting me to say "never mind." This time, I encountered another rude person with a dry and impatient demeanor. She dilated my eyes that stung, and she tried to rush the process, but I asked her to pause while I adjusted. Toward the end of the examination, she seemed to warm up, so that's good. Overall, the experience was somewhat professional, but the customer service has noticeably declined since two years ago. It's a pity because the actual optometrist was so sweet but customer service gets ruined by unprofessional staff members.

This was my first time visiting KC eye clinic the entire staff made the experience very pleasant. I was comfortable, the process went very smoothly, everything was explained in detail. Dr Ohly answered all of my questions and explained in great detail about the upcoming surgeries. I am very confident I am in good hands and all will go well.

I was referred to this clinic as a bump appeared on my eyeball close to a spot where a squamous cell had been discovered. My immediate impression was that every staff member was friendly and efficient, a great combination which helped assure me and calm my nerves. The doctor I saw was also friendly, answered every question, and made me very comfortable with the options and our choice of surgery and biopsy. Everything went well, and I would highly recommend this office for your eye care needs.
