Dotson Eyecare

Yearly vision check time...well more like every 18 months at this point but who is keeping track? Oh right my PCP...hence the visit. I found Dr. Dotson and crew when I moved to Topeka 16 yrs ago. They are always very professional and thorough. I choose to get my glasses here as well because there is a good selection of frames at all prices. The staff know what they are doing and are honest about the frames that are best for my face. I may have to wait a week to get the glasses back, but thats OK. I know they will be "just right" Thanks Dr. Dotson and staff!

I had to switch eye doctors when mine retired. I am so happy I chose Dr. Dotson!!!! His staff were very helpful and friendly. Dr Dotson was very thorough, pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. He was knowledgeable about my eye issues and even ordered blood work to rule out a possible issue.

Dr Dotson has a friendly, competent staff and his office is clear and pleasant. My appointment began on time. Dr Dotson and his staff explained what they were doing at each step of the examination. The doctor asked about changes and concerns and answered each. My eyes had little change and the doctor explained that I didn't need new glasses unless I just wanted a chance. There was no pressure to purchase. My next annual visit was scheduled before I left.

Our whole family adores Dr Dotson. He does such a thorough job checking our eyes and it gives us all peace of mind that he goes above and beyond what most eye doctors do. One week my husband had a rock fly up and hit him in the eye. Dr Dotson met him over the weekend, on a Sunday to check his eye. We tell everyone about what a great Dr he is! Best in town.

My most recent visit to Dr Kyle Dotson was like being with a practitioner who deeply cares for his patients. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the specifics of the examination. Dotson eye care is a top notch eye care center. He has a staff that is very knowledgeable in the field. His checkups are very thorough ample parking. They have handicap parking and accessible. They have an extensive collection of glasses to choose from. They are the go to place for contact lenses.

I would recommend Dr. Dotson because he is very detailed and looks at the whole person and knows your history. After cataract surgery I had a problem on a Sunday I called and explained what was going on with my eye (severe pain). Dr. Dotson told me to come to his office and he helped me within an hour of my call. I was very grateful and plan to continue to be seen by him.
