Was a great experience and had a down to earth doctor that helped explain my eyes and gave me advice on how to better be prepared if I have dry eyes or twitching. Wish I knew more about transitional lenses but overall im happy with my purchase and will probably come back next year with insurance for another pair. Thank you and I understand that good service means your constantly busy

I recently went to the EyeDoctors on Gage in Topeka. Each staff member was very friendly. They worked me in on a short notice. The optometrist was very thorough and professional. He addressed his concerns about my eye health in a compassionate and straightforward manner. I so appreciated that. Would totally recommend to anyone.

The service while actually in office is great. They got me in and out pretty quickly. The issue come in when trying to call them. I've spent 2 hours trying to get in contact with ANYONE that will answer the phone and no luck. I can't even leave a message since the mailbox is full. I think this is very unprofessional especially during business hours.

Very nice people the doctor was especially nice sat and explained a lot to me that I didn't know I am very satisfied with him.

Used to be good when they were The Spectacle. Eye doctors is a horrible place. Have had billing issues with them multiple times. Will never use them again.

My rating of a 1 is directed towards one of the technicians, Savannah. I went for my yearly eye exam with Dr. Manes. That was great! Dr. Manes recommend one of their over the counter products. He handed me the item and I asked him what the price was. He told me the price and I proceeded to check out with Savannah. I questioned the amount due and she informed me that Blue Cross did not cover one of the $40 charges. I explained to her that I thought they did cover it because I had never paid for that service before. Four times during the checkout period she stated that Blue Cross never covered that procedure. When I left I immediately called Blue Cross and was told that I had received that same service every year and it was definitely a covered cost. She put me on hold and called Savannah herself. She said that Savannah argued with her and refused to change the code before having the claim processed. We decided to leave the issue until the claim was processed and they would just owe me the difference. I went in to the office to get the price adjusted on the item I was overcharged and unfortunately I had to deal with Savannah again. She told me even though the doctor had misquoted the price she would not do an adjustment. She would not let me return the unopened product. She told me three times that these were not her issues. Unfortunately Dr. Manes was not in the office but I will definitely be speaking to him first thing Monday morning!

This company made me appointment in October for appointment for December 17, 2025 at 10:30 am. I have the print out of confirmation and now they are telling me I don't have an appointment at any of the locations. When you have Medicare insurance they are messing with your life. Don't go to them

I like my new eye doctor that I had. When I had retired. My new eye doctor did all the checking in my eyes and see how I was doing. Trouble seeing with my glasses. You look at all of the charts that we had , and we decided that I probably wouldn't need a stronger prescription instead of surgery. I was happy to hear that. I will see you next year.Thank you.
