Georgetown Eye Care

I took a dear friend to see Dr. Alexis Showalter D'Arsie there yesterday, and she was a breath of fresh air. We hadn't connected well with her previous optometrist and it turns out we weren't the only ones. But Dr Showalter D'Arsie is everything you hope for in a provider. She truly listens. She talks to you like she wants to be there, not like she is rushing through a checklist. She explains things in a way that you can understand, makes sure you're following along, and never makes you feel silly for asking questions. She is patient, she is kind, and she clearly knows her stuff. My friend felt comfortable with her immediately, and so did I. If you're looking for someone who combines skill with genuine care, Dr. Showalter D'Arsie is the one.

I have had the opportunity of bringing my clients to Georgetown Eye Care multiple times. On every occasion, I am always very pleased with the care they give. The office staff always greet patients with a smile. Any time I have called with a question or concern it is addressed quickly. Dr. Richardson has always provided exceptional care during visits. He is attentive, thorough, and makes sure my client and I understood treatment options. Highly recommend!

I purchase FEP Blue Vision , and Dr. Richardson is a participating provider. Unfortunately this was the second time that he billed my medical insurance for my annual eye exam! I don't have any routine eye exam coverage on my medical insurance. So I'm being charged by Dr. Richardson for $18.50 and they won't reimburse me the $18.50! He's a great opthamologist, but he needs to bill the correct insurance company. I pay good money for my Blue Vision Eye Insurance, but this office needs to follow the correct procedure when billing a routine eye exam!

Had my first non mall/big box brand eye care visit in over 25 years of wearing glasses. This is going to sound silly but NO PUFF OF AIR IN MY EYES! Both my daughter (7) and I saw Dr Adam's today and it was hands down the best eye exam I've had. Amazing staff, amazing service and an awesome selection of frames. Will certainly be making this my annual visit from this point forward! Thank YOU GEC!

Dr. Adams is amazing. She did such a good job with my daughters (one of which is a pill with any sort of dr) and discussed everything with me in detail. She is excellent! The staff is so nice and worked directly with my daughter to find a pair of glasses she loved. I felt very comfortable working with everyone there, they even helped me find a great kids dentist for my "I hate all dr. Kid"

Amazing staff, very detailed care. Dr. Richardson is very thorough in his exams and care. Thankful for this quality of care in Georgetown.

The staff is friendly. Space is clean. Doctor is very knowledgeable. I feel confident in their capabilities. - If you are running late, don't waste your time driving in. I got caught in traffic. Called the office and was told if no more than 10 minutes it would be fine. I got to the desk 11 minutes after my appointment. I stood in line behind 2 patients checking out, when they got to me to check me in, they looked at the clock & rescheduled me.

They have one of the best staff, and my doctor was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful. But, I was supposed to get glasses and its been over a month and I'm still without them. They don't ever call to give you updates just leave you in the dark. I had to call and found out they got messed up and had to restart them. Have to wait another two weeks which I'm guessing will be another month. No one should have to wait this looking for corrective lenses. Walmart eye center got my old pair to me in 5 days.
