Ohio Valley Eye Institute

My first time here was not a good experience but after speaking to the office manager and when I picked up my glasses I felt like they made an effort to satisfy me as a customer/patient. However although I ended up having friendly chit chat with the doctor he came in with a sales pitch out of the gate. As a doctor you need to talk to the patient about eye health first. Since I do have aging eye issues. Then he rattles off issues and ends it by saying " small eyes, heavy lids "...with his finger in a very demeaning way. Another sales pitch for cosmetic upperlids. I've worked for 3 major offices in California who performed all types of eye surgeries. Cosmetic and medical. The doctor never never spoke to patients like this. And only in a consult did he discussed such things and not in that matter! I left feeling bad Lastly they need to give more attention to assisting and fitting glasses instead of acting surprised that you want to pick out glasses...uhhh ya that's why im here. The girl who gave the eye exam was professional and nice and the girl at the desk when I picked up glasses had a good attitude. Im new the area after I told people I knew 2 popped up with negative to say. I hate to give a review like this but also hate to experienced what I did that day I shouldn't leave stressed

Dr. Malitz did my LASIK and my mother's cataracts with a special multifocal lens and we both can see 20/20 without glasses! Such a joy to see so clearly...I cannot say enough good about Dr. Malitz and his staff at Ohio Valley Eye !

They have tried to bill me for a surgery that never happened. I was not told of a surgery nor did I have one, yet I received the bill for one. NOT HAPPY!!
