Dr. Tanner is top notch! He performed my cataract surgery. My experience was very smooth and professional. He and his staff explained every step in detail so, I knew what to expect. They also answered my questions and helped me to feel more at ease with the surgery. I am grateful for Dr. Tanner's expertise and skill. Cataract surgery has truly made a difference in my vision.

I have been a patient with Dr Abell since 2003. I was quite nervous about his retiring. One of the last times I saw Dr. Abell, Dr. Tanner accompanied him. I was very impressed by his knowledge. Between my scheduling cataract surgery and the actual surgery, Dr. Tanner took over most surgeries. He did a great job. He was efficient, friendly, and caring. He provided great care during and after the procedure, even calling personally to check on me. The great Abell Eyes work can continue through Dr. Tanner.

I've been a patient of Abell Eyes for several years. They have advised me on my vision correction needs and contact lens replacement with very good success. Over the last year my vision deteriorated from cataracts and I needed to do something about it. Dr. Michael Tanner walked me through the entire process, advised about the options in replacement inter-ocular lenses, and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently. The surgery in February went very well over two sessions. I'm six months out now and still completely satisfied with the outcome. The lenses he helped me select are perfect for my lifestyle and vision needs. Dr. Tanner, Dr. GIrtner, and all the staff without exception has shown great care for my eye care needs.

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr Giltner. Not only did he come in prior to my surgery to see if I had any questions but he also took the time out to ease any fears that I was having. Dr. Tanner is my ophthalmologist and removed cataracts out of both eyes. The surgery was extremely easy and quick. All of my follow up appointments have been concise.
