Dr. Asim Piracha, MD

I had EVO ICLs (an implantable contact lens) placed in both eyes on 2/9/26 by Dr. Piracha. My experience with the procedure and the results of my vision have exceeded my expectations. Dr. Piracha and all of his staff attending to me were caring, thoughtful and knowledgable about the entire process. I have been a corrective lens wearer since I was 8 years old and was not a candidate for the Lasik or PRK surgery due to my high prescription. I am so thankful the ICL was an option for me, I am seeing better than I have in years. And the best part, no more contacts or glasses! The recovery process has been a breeze, essentially no pain! I am very grateful to Dr. Piracha and the staff at CES. Highly recommend!

Great experience at Commonwealth Eye. Considering the high volume of patients they see, their customer service and efficiency is excellent. The employees all seem happy and like their work which is refreshing these days. Was under anesthesia, so didn't get converse with Dr Piracha, but results of his surgery were great.

The facility and the staff were very nice. You were checked in quickly and your eyes were examined for your reading for the cataract surgery. You are prepped and prepared for the surgery . Dr. Piranha introduced himself just before he proceeded with the cataract removal. It took less than 30 minutes.

Dr. Piracha talked me through everything he was doing. He made me feel safe and comfortable. I knew I was in good hands. I'm typing this immediately after my second eye procedure in 2 days. Both eyes were fixed and I have Dr. Piracha and his staff to thank for that! I knew when I saw him that he was supposed to be my doctor so when i was told he would be handling my procedures, I was relieved and grateful. Thank you

So far my cataract surgery has very good results. I opted for the fixed focus lens. My distance vision is good. But I have to use reading glasses for anything up close.

Such an amazing doctor and staff. Dr Pirachs and his staff was so friendly, answered all questions and so patient and friendly. Highly recommend for lasik! I drove 2 and half hours to see them and dont regret it.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery, from the beginning to the end. Just after 24 hours I already see so much better. Commonwealth Eye Surgery Staff were very professional and very helpful. My assigned nurse was excellent and kept me informed about what she was doing. Dr. Piracha and his staff makes a great team and are very professional. I highly recommend him and his team for Laser Enhanced Cataract Surgery.

My entire experience with Commonwealth from the beginning with the efforts and professionalism of the staff through my surgery , with Dr. Piracha and the nursing staff and the anesthesiologist, I could not have asked for any better. One week later and still not wearing glasses! Thanks to everyone.
