Did a great job for me! My first procedure resulted in 20/20 vision after only 24 hours. They say 20/20 after 24 hours is rare so I have to give all the credit to Dr Wortz! Well, not ALL the credit, he surrounds himself with an excellent support team. All his staff and everyone was so nice and helpful! For such an important event the whole staff was wonderful and understanding of my anxiety. I'm on my way to much improved vision! I would highly recommend Commonwealth Eye Surgery!!! PS: I'm about 12 hours post-op of my second cataract surgery and I'm seeing good results already. It was 2 great experiences!

Wow! Just Wow!! From "check-in" to "done"we could not ask for a better experience. Each and every person we encountered was over the top kind, considerate, and most helpful. Everyone was very professional and went out of their way to provide excellent care. We highly recommend Commonwealth Eye Surgery and Dr. Wortz to anyone considering cataract surgery.

The office staff is friendly but wait times are lengthy. The doctor I saw wasn't the one doing the surgery. On 2 of 3 visits, only one doctor was in the office and the waiting room was pretty full. If they continue to schedule so many appts at the same time, they need to address the lack of staff on duty. The triage nurse was wonderful and the nurses on the surgery floor are really good and put you at ease. I would have preferred to meet the doctor who actually performed the procedure before the surgery. I commented on that the 2nd day when I went back for the other eye. The nurse said I met him, I just didn't remember. They pumped me full of anesthesia, so obviously I wouldn't remember. It would be nice if he took a minute or two to talk to his patients before anesthesia is administered. It's only been a day and I don't see a lot of difference in my vision but I am amazed at how vivid colors appear since the surgery.

Short and sweet! The YAG procedure took maybe 20 seconds. He was friendly and efficient. No discomfort at all.

I had a great experience from start to finish. I saw Dr Smith before and after Dr Wortz removed Cataracts from both eyes on consecutive days. Now seeing clearly.

Great doctor. Can hardly believe how well I can see. Seeing colors in things that I've been looking at every day. Notice things that I didn't see before.

The facility and expertise of the staff and the doctors is quite simply amazing. Check in process is simple and efficient. Wait times are minimal. All the equipment is state of art and mile beyond anything that I have seen in the many optometrist offices I've been to over the years. I highly recommend this team, it's like I'm living in a new world visually thanks to the Dr. and his staff!
